Got my 2012 GMC Sierra recently second hand. Looked like my truck was little more level than factory but wasn't sure. So I went ahead and ordered a 2.5" from rough country. Well, started taking everything off and popped the strut off and noticed this kit was installed, so I said to myself no big deal I'll take this off and install my rough country kit. With that being said, took this off and noticed the bolts were cut. So for me to be able to install the rough country lift I would have to replace the entire strut on both sides. This is crazy. Why create a lift to where you have to cut factory bolts and have to replace the entire strut to fix that? Doesn't make sense to me. So I will be sending my other kit back which is pretty sad because I'm not gonna replace both my struts

Lifted my front end up where its supposed to be. I love chevys but the front end dips so it looks like you have a hotrod 4WD. I wish chevy would just make these standard.

Took about 90 minutes to install and adds the perfect amount of height to level the front end. My good buddy (who is a heavy-tech mechanic) insisted I get Daystar. I'd recommend this to anyone...

Bought this item for my 2010 Silverado. Upon arrival they were solid rings not as in this picture. That being said when reviewing the instructions it required cutting the strut bolts. If I was to proceed I would not be able to undo this modification with out replacing the struts. I have returned them and order a similar product from Rough Country that does not require this irreversible modification
