The sub works as expected but you hear a faint vibrating sound coming from inside the sub when at about half volume. The sub I had before never made this type of sound. It almost sounds like the voice coil is rubbing or hitting something internally. Also I do not understand why this sub is double the price of the 6.5 inch. 🤷🏻♂️

Bought this to replace the 7" woofer in my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system for my computer. Made the system sound at least as good as new. I feel it sounds better than it ever did before. Tight bass, 50 htz is low enough for my computer system. Couldn't use the speaker grill when I was done, which doesn't matter to me. For install, I redrilled the mounting holes, as this speaker has 5 and the Klipsch had 4. The only other thing I had to do was cut off the positive speaker wire narrow blade connector and crimp on a normal size blade connector. Connected the speaker, put in the 5 screws, boom, better than new sound now. I checked this speakers dimensions carefully to ensure it wasn't too deep, which would have caused it to hit the port tube inside the enclosure. The measurements were right, and it worked out very well for me.
