I got this from grainger rather than amazon. Ive had it probably 6 months. It was fine at first though warm.. these should NEVER get warm. The fan it is on pulls 5 amps max and this is a six amp controller.. it shouldnt remotely struggle with that load. About 4 months after i installed it the on off switch went out. It will still control the speed but i cant turn it off so.. i had to disconnect and reconnect it whenever i wanted to use it. Considering 5 amp controllers from other companies cost like $15 and this one is 50+ you'd think you were getting quality. Nope. Not that it will ever come up but i wont buy anything from dayton again
