It works, good strong spring on the inside. The only thing I don't like about it is the screw to screw the terminal down stripped out with very minimal pressure. I ended up using a coarse thread metal stud screw to screw the terminal down.I wired this in series with the momentary key switch just in case this ever hangs up. My old one hung up and I was in a frantic rush to get the battery unhooked because I could not pull the key switch out it unhooked because I could not pull the push button switch up it was in a bind. So now I have to turn the key switch and push the button to get the tractor to start. This one is much stronger than the old worn-out original one I had.

Nothing against the product at all, just a pain to change since you have to remove the transmission cover to do it.

Have no idea how long it will last but its seems well built would have been nice if a rubber wire boot was included even if for an additional cost.
