Appears as high quality, should make my 5th wheel less desirable than the other dozen unlocked ones in the storage yard. I live close to Portland Oregon where RV theft is extremely common. Any little bit of added security is always helpful.

Does what I need it to do.. deter theft by securing the king pin on my dropped trailer. They key-turn is smoothe as butter, so I’m not worried about the locking mechanism getting jammed, and loosing access to my own trailer.

It works great!! Easy to put on, Slide the lock over the pin on the trailer and put the key init and turn key.Your all done, works like a charm.

A simple locking concept, The chain didn't take long to start rusting. Be careful with the keys, I have been to several locksmiths and none can cut additional spares, strange blanks.

Just slip it on the pin and turn the key. I like the rubber seal that covers the key hole.

This a very nice looking heavy duty king pin lock. It looks like stainless steel, but since they don't state that it may just be nickel or chrome coated, but at any rate it looks like it will not rust out in the weather. The only issue I have is that the rubber cap that covers the keyway does not fit real tight and easily falls out. It's not a big deal because the lock is mostly out of the weather anyway, sitting under the king pin, but if it's there it should work. Anyway, if you're worried about a 5th wheel trailer being stolen then this is something you'll be glad you purchased.

It’s Strong, heavy duty & easy to install. I’m sure thief’s would think twice, when seeing this lock on our trailer.
