This partial split screen is exactly what we needed for our french doors out back. We wanted to keep the back door open just a little to let the cats outside with us when we water our garden, but the flies and mosquitoes were coming in. I didn't think that a regular screen with one panel would work for this door. The little bit of screen on the entry side of the door is perfect. It allows just a small opening and the cats learned how to use it quickly. It's a high quality material, so I think it will last for a few years. We will store it during winter.

I am so incredibly glad I purchased this. I especially like the magnet feature to bring the sides back together. It works incredibly for letting my cat in and out. This screen door is an excellent way to add a screen to a back door. I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone who does not have a screen door, and does not want to go have to purchase an actual door to install. This was very easy to install.

the screen looks great and works as long as there is no breeze. the slightest wind causes it to flap open. wish it had stronger magnets

This “door” is so cute and it’s tough! We live in the country, have dogs and this way I don’t have to let them in and out all the time during the day…. The stripes are fun and my dogs (Malmute mix & Pyranees) have scratched at this thing and it’s still in tact. Couple little holes but others we’ve had would be totaled.

Pros: easy to put up if you don't have anything on the inside of your door jam and the jam is flat.Cons: the tacks/plastic head brads that come with the kit are dangerous. You try to push them in and the brad pops through the plastic head into your finger. Use a hammer!

Got this for my balcony for my dogs to be able to go in and out. Took about 3 minutes to teach them how to use it. I love it! The magnets close every single time except for at the very bottom but I think it’s only because I didn’t install it a little higher for the end to not touch the floor. I also had to put it on the inside since my door opens outward but it actually compliments my decor as well so overall great purchase!!

I like to host get togethers on my porch, but we tend to have a lot of houseflies and other insects since I live in the South. This is easy to pass through even carrying a platter of food and just closes behind me! My toddler can use it easily. Also great for letting your house air out without letting everything in! This is slightly taller than my door (there are only so many sizes), but I was able to install it (by myself) so it hangs without a problem. I used the adhesive provided and a couple of push pins at the top for extra reinforcement and I haven't had a problem in the eight months I've owned this.
