Grabbed this hammer to use for building some shelves I have. I have several mallets and many of them have broken apart and gotten beat up from repeated use. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this hammer. It feels very well put together and solid. The face is made out of a strong material that feels like it will hold up strongly to repeated uses. I expected it to feel a lot flimsier like most mallets I've gotten but it feels solid as a rock, almost like it was cast together as 1 piece. Very impressed with quality and build.

This mallet has been my go to. Good balance and weight. The rubber grips feel high-end. I've used it for a few weeks on various tasks and its been holding up very well.

Exactly as described, this mallet is easy to grip and hold. I ordered it to help me take apart and reorganize wire shelving in my storage unit. Having a good mallet saves a lot of time, effort and frustration. I like that the coating in this one keeps it from marring and damaging surfaces, too.

I really like this hammer, the handle seems longer than what's shown in the picture. That said the long handle let's you really pack a punch with this. The sand filled head helps distribute the blow better. Overall like the design and feel of this hammer a lot.

2 lb. dead blow hammer, weighs in pretty close to that, so there ya go. The whole thing is rubberized and easy to grip. No excuse for it to slip out of your hand. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, so zero complaints.

A dead-blow hammer is a must have for several trades, I ordered this one for its weight, handle type, and color (I like green). I immediately put this into action once I received it and it performed as expected, even with a few misses on swings it didn't chip off any of the rubber. I also swung it very hard for another project and it did not explode as other hammers in this price range have. Overall I am happy with this hammer and keep it toward the top of my tool box.

Really nice and sturdy. Doesnt try and break when you hit something with it.The grip is comfortable, doesn't try to fly out of your hand. The head stays on the handle.

This is a solid dead-blow hammer. It weighs in at approximately the promised weight and looks just like the product photos. It feels quite solid, so I would not imagine it's gonna break apart on your first project. No assembly involved, best of all. It is all-over quite rubbery and pleasant to the hand, so a pleasure to use. Handle does feature a hole at the south end if you want to hang it on a peg board or what have you.
