The touchpad works well, feels good to the touch and is responsive. When I tap the pad it has a slight vibration I notice that my old touchpad didn't have, so I'll learn to simply press versus raise my finger up to tap. Just a habit thing. Lastly, the track pad buttons (three buttons at top) do not work, which is why I reduced to 4 stars. And, yes I made sure the track pad is enabled in system settings. I don't use the trackpad otherwise I would return it for replacement.

Easy swap in Lenovo T440p, fits perfectly, and the buttons don't seem to be contacting the screen when the lid is closed. All expected functions are there in Debian, including Trackpad scrolling. I have no idea about Windows.

I may not have the right driver yet. Keep working on that later. THE problem is the connector on the bottom side. The white portion of the connection port crumbled while trying to insert the cable to the mother board. Some how it is working . Just wonder how long it will last.UPDATE: Found the driver that works with the touchpad. Except the 3 physical buttons do not work at all. The software does allow for zones for tapping for the same functions on the touchpad itself. Not very happy.

This worked well for a repair I had to do for a customer, the quality wasn't nearly as good as the original but it did work well and got the job done.

This was my second attempt to find a three-button replacement for the touchpad on my T440p.This one worked perfectly!I did not have to even download any drivers for Windows 10. As soon as I connected everything and booted the computer back up, I was in business.All buttons work as expected. The middle button does scroll.

No driver needed for me. Arch Linux. Can't speak for Windows. I knew the Lenovo rep was blowing smoke when he said people really liked the new pad. Way to stay strong Thinkpad users and remind them why we buy!
