Incomplete set. Came with 6 strings instead of the 7 that was supposed to be inside. Plus one of those 6 strings were dead. Thud thud thud. Luckily I had a replacement string to replace that one. So in fact, it only came with 5 strings. Lame.

The highest string has snapped while putting new strings on my bass. This has happened twice. I play a 1/2 step lower than standard and it still snaps before reaching correct pitch.

The highest string snapped in less than 1 min after installation. This is the worst set of strings for 7 string bass I have ever owned. Complete waste of money.

The wound .22 snapped before ever even getting remotely close to pitch. Also they are taper wound. I don't care for taperwound. All around very disappointed with sound and feel of these strings. I only bought these because I had a gift card.

Bass strings are a highly personal choice, so YMMV.These particular strings are clear, have deep bell like tones and tend to be very consistent across sets. The durability is good and the tonal range is excellent. Highly recommended, I use them on a GT-7 and a Warwick Thumb 4 bo.
