Very light gauge and there is nothing to indicate the gauge of each string, so I suppose you would need a micrometer to establish gauges. I bought these as they were cheap and I was curious about them. They're so light that I'd replace the first 4 strings of my Bass VI (actually a baritone guitar) as this is how light they are. I may or may not do this as my Bass VI is a rarely seen instrument and I treat it well; with unknown gauges for each string, I'm unsure right now. If you like a super light gauge, you may consider giving these a shot but, if you're looking for a bass-y sound, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Not bad strings, according to my son. He said they are a cheaper version and it took awhile to break them in, but overall they’re good.
