Great river net. Love how the handle folds makes it nice and easy to store in your bag. Also get a lanyard and super strong break away magnet. What fly fisher doesn't need another lanyard or break away. The big opening into net makes it really easy to land your catch as well.

The concept is great but the entire handle is way too wobbly for my liking. The compact idea of folding the handle is great just not executed well.

I have never seen a rubber mesh net before. I like it because stuff gets tangled in it a lot less. The holes are too big for scooping minnows but it is perfect for fly fishing. I like that the handle folds but it is not as sturdy as a solid handle and has a little sloppy movement in the joint. I love the clip accessories so you don't have to worry about loosing your net in the water. I think every fisherman out there has lost at least one net. This net is a good size for bass and trout. The rubber netting feels sturdy and gentle for the fish. it is nice that they included a magnetized lanyard for attaching to your vest.I found the design to lack robustness. The net frame is a bit flimsy. The folding mechanism is also flimsy. When locked in the open position there is significant play. It is not firmly snapped open. Furthermore it does not snap or latch shut. When in the closed position it is not latched, so it can just fall open on its own. Overall it's serviceable but just ok.
