these were made of flimsy, cheap plastic. I tried to put them in the ground and the spike would bend or break. It couldn't even break the surface of the ground. Yes, they were cheap but still. What a mistake!

Meh. They’re cute and all, but flimsy and don’t work well unless you have a super level garden with soft dirt. They break easily. I wanted them for short term Halloween decorations so they were fine for that.

Sounding even get them to go into the soil. Not sturdy enough to press down on the push into soil. They broke so bad we couldn’t even return them. My loss

The look could be cute but the product is thin plastic so it’s difficult to put into the ground and stand straight. Not sturdy and non functional. The size is perfect if it was of better quality.

I ordered the garden border to make a little fence on the church stage leading back to a white arbor (Gateway to Life) for my mother's funeral. I carefully looked at the pictures of the various garden borders Amazon sells and picked the one that I hoped I would have to assemble so I could leave the stakes off and set the border flush on the floor. But since the stakes are a solid part of the fence, I will either need to cut them off, or figure out a way to make it look OK.There was a second thing. I looked at the description and saw that this border was almost a foot tall and I was quite pleased that it was taller than some of the others. But if I had studied all the pictures under the presenting picture, I would have seen that the measurement included the stake (!) and the fence part was as short as the others after all.
