First off I Never leave reviews, and this item is so awful I feel compelled. Iām a contractor and had the same deezee box for almost 20 years.This box however is not as advertised. First, it is thin. It was poorly packaged (and had obviously been re packaged) with absolutely no protection, so It came dented.Second the handles are not like the advertised pic. The actual handles are cheap plastic! The locking mechanism that latched the lid to the lock is made of flimsy pot metal, such that it bends and the lid will then not latch. It is also so flimsy that the lid can actually be pried open, even when locked.In short, this thing is a pOs

Ignore any good review. This toolbox is one of the worst quality, junk boxes I've ever purchased. First one the latches didn't even work. Second one they worked for a month and then simultaneously both latches stopped working. DO NOT BUY!!!!

The box arrived promptly, in a box and in good condition. The instructions were generally clear and easy to follow. There could have been more detail about how and where to locate the holes for the j-hooks to anchor the box to the truck bed. But, it all worked out satisfactorily in the end.

This is not the cheapest product available but I wasn't looking for cheap. This box is well built, sturdy, easy to install, and looks great. Will be a great addition to a construction work truck that gets used hard every day.

First off, this isn't as sturdy as other tool boxes as mentioned by others so be careful. I was looking for matte black with gull wings and this was about the best I could find. Sturdy enough for personal use but definitely not for commercial use.Second, don't think the manual mentions that adjusting the latch requires a 10-mm wrench/socket. Also, if you don't want to be a rolling billboard for DeeZee, just place the logo badge facing toward the cab.There are some out there that have trouble mounting these boxes to the rail system in the Tundras (mine is a '16). Here's how I did it and it worked for me:- Place the foam tape strip about 1 1/4" from the inside of the drop-down portion of the box. This should just about center it on the bed cap- Drill your holes centered front to rear, about 9/16" out from the lip, as measured inside the box.- Place the box against the front of the bed. Slide left and mark the bed cap through the drilled hole so you know where to place your J-Bolt. Slide right to mark the right bed rail. Remove the box- Put the J-Bolt into the accessory rail and rotate up, centered on the left and right markings on your bed. The rail will pretty much lock the J-Bolt in place and it may take a few moments to get it plumb and centered- Lift the box and place the drilled holes over the J-Bolts- Only tighten the nut on the J-Bolts until the lock washer goes flush to prevent damaging the accessory rail

Installed easily but is not water proof and very thin gauge aluminum. The locks are not much of a deterrent either,
