Tanks are intended for private use (non-commercial). Not designed for use as an auxiliary fuel system. Not for use with gasoline. Does not meet title 49 of the United Stated Federal Registry governing transportation.

Nicely lightweight combination took box / auxilary fuel tank.Tank arrived with small dents due to TERRIBLE packaging. Dents were relatively easy to remove but if packaged correctly they wouldn't need to be removed.Drain plug in bottom was cross threaded and had to be redrilled and rethreaded.Once installed works great. Be smart and by the DeZee install kit for easy gravity plumbing into truck.

There is no way it can be shipped the way it is packaged without damage, it needs foam and a better box. The tank is nice, good welds,perfect for what I needed, it comes slightly pressurized and its made of 1/8 material. 3 of the 4 tabs were bent but was able to straighten them, only one small dent. The tool box aluminum is super flimsy, it was dented and smashed all over, even the DeeZee eblem was broke off, the bolts holding box to tank were not tight. Called manufacturer and you can't get the box separate, can't even buy a replacement lid, told me even if they sent 7 may not get one that is not damaged from shipping? I could not find the one I wanted local and this was the perfect size, sending it back would be a super pain. I beat out what I could and got lid to close decent. That foam core lid they advertise is just crap, what it means is there is no way to hammer back out shipping damage. If they made the box out of thicker material it would help. Overall it will work for me even though its kind of an ugly duckling that looks well used straight out of the box.

I got this tank and installed it in my truck . Put 20 gallons in it and noticed diesel coming out from the bottom of it . Had to drain the tank which wasn’t easy and pulled back out . Found a welded place on it that had a pin hole in the center of it , where there shouldn’t be a welded spot in the first place. Didn’t have time to wait a week for a replacement because I’m driving from California to Georgia in 2 days, so I had to JB weld it . Better inspect you tank GOOD before you install it !!!! Really disappointed when I paid $950 for a new tank

I installed this in my 2017 Silverado 3500HD High Country SRW. I have it installed off enter with an air compressor next to it and under a hard rolling bed cover. Install was pretty easy. The only downside is depending on where you need drill holes, there might not be enough room under the truck for the hardware to secure it. I only have bolts in two of the mounting tabs on mine. Even still, it's not going anywhere. The toolbox holds more than I thought it would and closes with a very satisfying latch. I used the DeeZee installation kit to hook it up to the fuel system. I tried it with gravity feed only at first, but I ended up adding a pump and solenoid valve so I can turn it on and off from inside the cab. I've only transferred fuel a couple times so far, but it's been awesome.UPDATE - 11May19I have realized that the fuel cap leaks fuel everywhere when the tank is full and you go over even mild bumps. It seems that the cap is vented in both directions and the springs are not very strong. It is only an issue when the tank is totally full, but it's pretty much impossible to clean the diesel fuel it from under the tank that is bolted into my bed. The tank itself is great. The cap is garbage. I knocked one star off for the cap.

43 gallons extra fuel, a nice tool box for small stuff and fits under the tonneau cover,PERFECT!
