Used 2.5 times and then it stopped working. After the 2nd fry, the green light stayed on even after turning off and unplugging. It finally went out. With the 3rd use, halfway through the french fries it stopped heating and never finished the fry. We tried unplugging/plugging back in, resetting, etc. No avail. The fries had to be thrown out and never turned on again. Sad. I really liked the look and the first use was good.

If a deep fryer is something you would use fairly often then this is a pretty cool unit that works well. Gets hot quickly and temperature is easily adjustable for different foods.pretty easy to use and is simple to keep clean and seems pretty safe

This thing works great! It is the perfect size to use at home for little small frying needs but it does have a little bit of a commercial feel to it. Great for french fries! I've only used it a small handful of times and so far I really love it and can't wait to try some new little recipes that I can make in here.

It seems good so far. It came dented though. I don’t think it will impact performance so I’m keeping it.

The WaterElfo Deep Fryer is the perfect size for home use, but it still has a commercial feel with its stainless steel build and powerful 1800W heating element. The 9.5QT capacity is great for frying larger batches without feeling like I need a massive fryer taking up too much space in my kitchen. The included frying basket is sturdy and easy to use, and the thermostat control makes it super simple to get the perfect frying temperature every time. Whether I’m making fries, chicken, or even donuts, everything comes out crispy and cooked evenly.Cleanup is surprisingly easy too, thanks to the stainless steel construction that wipes down effortlessly. It’s been a great addition to my kitchen, and I love being able to enjoy restaurant-quality fried foods at home.If you’re looking for a reliable, efficient, and well-made deep fryer, this one checks all the boxes.

Been in F&B for a long time, and have “basketloads” of experience here. That being said, here are my initial takeaways. Some pros and cons, mostly positive.First, while not “commercial”, it is a solid, home fryer. For perspective, I have employed a “Grand Pappy” deep fryer. In fact, it’s a device I have used for 40+ years in various forms. It was an ideal solution for the more occasional frying I do on the home front. At the same time, it is also quite an inefficient option, all told. While it gets really great high temps, it also scalds the oil fairly quickly, reducing reusability. That’s where this particular fryer resigns supreme over such cheaper and more portable alternatives. This item calls out for a permanent space on the counter or somewhere in the kitchen. That’s a bit of the downside, but only if you tend toward infrequent use. If that is the case, you’re probably better off frying with Dutch oven or kettle fryer as mentioned, anyway. When you do choose the more permanent option, this is a nicely appointed item. Functionally, I think one of the greatest things about it is simply the cover. It keeps the oil concealed, fresh and prevents the smell from saturating. This is both a positive feature, and I would say a necessity. The build itself is solid. The function and coordinating of the parts is well thought out. The basket is easy to handle, fits well. The controls are easy to use and dial in. I haven’t gotten to cleanup yet, so cannot speak to it.Now, to the actual frying. Again, functionally, it’s great. The home versions of a McD’s fryer, from most people’s perspective. Drop-in basket. Super easy to use. Easy to clean the basket, itself when called for. Easy to view food items for doneness.he major downside is simply the inaccuracy of the temp and inability to achieve high temps. It runs about 5-10% below the dial-in, Now, perhaps this will improve over time and use, as sometimes this is the case. At the same time, it will take some manual adjusting to pay attention to this, and ensure you get a proper cook on your food. Further, for items such as fried fish, you will not get the 400f you might be desiring. Again, 375 or so is not a dealbreaker, but things will surely be a bit slower. Especially if you have a full basket.Still, all in all, it is a really useful, eye-appealing item which ought to find a good groove for the home cook in most all circumstances. Still a huge upgrade over more one-off methods.

There is just so much this has that you don't get from a cheap consumer grade fryer. A connected plug so it can't fall out while using it. A beefier heating element that gets to temp super quick. A deep basket to hold a whole bag of fries. A metal lid to keep splashing and splattering down. And real knobs and buttons to control it. Used this over the holidays to fry chicken and fries a few times. Cleaning the unit is a breeze as it comes apart quick and the tub for the oil is not part of the unit. Also, the basket folds down to store in the unit when not in use.
