I thought Delphi was a good brand. This is the second set purchased and installed on two separate vehicles. Both sets have had failures. The original GM products lasted 140,000 miles and the other lasted 160,000 miles. No more Delphi. OEM (GM, Ford, Dodge) from now on.CORRECTION. Was not bad coil. Found oil in spark plug tube that was causing the coils to short out rather than fire the plug. The coils are working correctly.

I replaced these coils less than a year ago and 4/6 have failed. There is no where to get warranty coverage. Amazon says to contact manufacturer. The manufacturer says to contact Amazon. Not happy. I would like a full refund immediately. The failure of these coils left my wife stranded in a not so good part of town. I am not pleased.

With these coils, I think it's pretty impossible to know quality. If it works it works. This may be the same as the AC Delco part at about 2/3 the cost but I don't know that for certain, and there are coils about half the price that probably will work fine. There's no way to compare a cheap one with a good one side-by-side. But if you need to replace the rear three on the transverse engine you have a big job ahead of you. Everything on the top of the motor needs to be taken off to get to those cylinders. What a terrible design! On a V8 or straight four it takes just a few minutes. On a transverse motor a good mechanic will take several hours. So the labor will cost you much more than the parts sorry to tell you. And if you start to get misfires jerking/bucking you will have no choice. If that happens even if you don't get a check engine light check for codes. My light did not go on but there was a stored code for a cylinder three misfire and this part needed to be changed.

Fast delivery, I have to mention that this is a replacement part. We purchased 5 of these earlier in the week and found that after trying to install them, one coil's threaded screw did not match the others. It did not have the tapered fit to allow it to properly settle or screw into the engine block. because of this poor design the screw did not tighten and just kept turning, that turning meant the brass fitting in the engine block was also turning. So we bought some JB Weld to secure that fitting and a replacement Coil.

I got that unsettling check engine light in my car. After getting the code, it identified an ignition coil as being the issue... which was the original part from manufacturing. Rather than purchase the part locally for more than double the price, I ordered it on Amazon.I got the parts, installed them, and approximately 10,000 miles later, no issues and no further check engine triggers. We'll see how they continue to perform, but as of now I'm very happy with this purchase.
