Your cart is empty.Delphi's mechanical fuel pumps, which work with older-model carbureted systems, deliver fuel flow to the engine. It sits at the front-lower portion of the motor and the pumps are lever-operated. An internal diaphragm draws fuel from the tank through lines running the length of the vehicle and pushes the fuel into the carburetor.

Had a Carter, it failed within 7 months. Ordered one from Delphi thinking it’d be different.. nope, same junk Carter sells. Didn't even install it, returned it as soon as I opened the box. Don’t buy!! They will fail within less than a year. Buy a true Toyota fuel pump.

Installed this fuel pump due to the original beginning to leak fuel. Installed, without a single problem, gaskets were right and everything was perfect. Drove to town, everything was perfect. On the way home, my engine shuts off, and I had a hunch it was the fuel pump. Removed fuel pump to put the original one on, just because it was worth shot with not having to hire a tow truck,Found that the spring, and pump arm were snapped off inside the timing cover. I got very lucky, but you may not, this could’ve caused entire engine failure due to the product being cheap.

Part looks well made and fit my 1989 Pickup perfectly. It's been on the truck for about 5-6 months now and no issues. Would recommend.
