Within 3 days out on the lake one clasp pin has fell apart, straps do not stay tight. As soon as you lean back the straps come loose. Very poor quality seat.

Bought as a replacement for 10yr old Hobie kayak seats, these provide better support and hence a more comfortable seating than the original Hobie sits did. However, they are not as weather proof as the Hobie seats. The brass-looking fixing clips started to corrode immediately upon use. So be prepared to take these seats off your kyak when not in use if you want them to last. Overall, well worth the price.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this but so glad I did. It fits mostly sit on top kayaks but mine is a sit down in one. I was able to hook it up with no problem. Since I’m having some back issues this seat is very supportive for my back!

The quality of this seat is nice, the only complain is the straps that adjust are short and are not folded and sewn at the end. Because of this, when I lean back the strap just comes out and does not allow for me to use the seat. There is only 2” of strap left before it slides out. It would be nice to have the ends sewn over and about 6” more of the straps.

The height of the seat was good, it gave my back better support. Padding on bottom was much more comfortable, I was able to kayak longer. Installation was not easy we kinda of just hooked it to the permanent seat on kayak

I like to go paddleboarding a lot but sometimes I get tired standing or going on my knees. This seat allows me to sit and row so I can go longer distances. used it kayaking the lake for 2 hours and was very comfortable and had no back pain afterwards.The big differences between this seat and others used is the high back with good support and the seat cushion bottom does not slip forward while paddling. It dries really quickly and is super lightweight and easy to attach and take off to store.The kayak seat that came with a storage bag in the back to keep my water bottle , camera and phone in as well. Now I am not concerned when I'm on the lake or river - as long as I have sunscreen on , I love it so much !
