It's a little awkward at first because the tendency is to put most of the pressure on the top edge rather than distribute the pressure equally across all the edges. I have a border collie/poodle mix who has a cut that retained some areas that are long haired but some areas that are shorter. It's almost too big for her size because you can't really get a long smooth stroke for the long area. It did seem to work Ok on the shorter areas. Given her long hair is a bit kinkier and the tool didn't seem to really get the undercoat as expected, this product may work better on more smooth coated long hair dogs with an undercoat. The product is made well and the case is really nice to keep the tool in to protect the shedding edges.

We have a German Shepherd, which means we are in a constant battle with dog hair. I used this on him for the first time last night and was amazed by how much undercoat it removed without tearing/cutting/damaging the guard hairs at the surface.I’ve tried similar tools in the past and they all caused damage to his outer coat, and that type of damage doesn’t really repair itself well.4/5 because my boy seemed a little uncomfortable with the process, especially over bony areas like his ribs and spine. I slowed down and tried to be extra gentle in these spots which seemed to help some. He really enjoyed me working on the heavier coat on the backs of his thighs and around his throat and chest.

This brush performs reliably and seems to be more comfortable for my dog compared to the standard metal-edge tools I've previously used. The composite carbon fiber edges glide over the coat smoothly while still removing a substantial amount of loose fur. It’s well-shaped for handling, and the grip allows for better control. My dog tolerates it much better than past brushes, which often caused discomfort or irritation. These tools cause a visible reduction in shedding around the house. If you've never used a deshedder, I'd recommend trying one. For owners of long-haired breeds, this is a strong choice worth keeping in the regular grooming rotation.

I have a newfoundland/bernese mountain dog mix and when I tell you he sheds non-stop I mean it. No matter how much I brush him, it's like little tufts of hair are always ready to pop off. Even vacuuming daily, my floor stays black with his fur. That being said, this deshedding brush worked amazingly well! I felt like I pulled a full dog off of him. It was gentle, he didn't fight it, and it definitely pulled more than all of the other deshedding brushes I've tried. The middle comb doesn't seem to do much, but the first and last one make a huge difference.I don't want to brush him with it daily, but maybe a once a week deshedding will help save my carpets. I really like this brush. I can't wait to use it again.

I have 3 dogs & if I don’t brush them, the pet hair can definitely get way out of hand. It doesn’t take long for it to get out of control. This FUR4 deShedding Dog Brush is definitely the nicest dog brush I’ll ever own. It comes in this really nice, super thick, high quality case. The case alone is worth the money. But include the dog brush with it and it’s more than worth the price. The PolyCarboMax teeth aren’t like anything I’ve ever seen or used. They literally drag the hair off without hurting your best friend. Plus, the handle is so easy to hold onto. It’s a little more on the pricey side especially for a brush but I think it’s worth it. I love having this in my toolkit. I would definitely reorder. Would make a great gift for anytime. Highly Recommend!! 5 Stars★★★★★

This works well. I have a Great Pyrenees and keeping her groomed can be difficult. I have used the one blade deshedding tools before, but it really took a lot of extra time to use it on her. With this tool it is much faster and she enjoys it more. Only the first 2 blades really catch a lot of the hair, but that is likely because I don't keep it flat enough to her coat. I really like the protective nubs on the ends of each blade. It means I can use this tool on all of my dogs. Their coats range from medium to long and the safety nubs keep me from hurting them when I use it. Another nice factor of this tool is the sturdy case it comes in for storage. Overall this is a great product and it can cut down the dog hair factor in your home a lot although I wouldn't go so far as to claim it will make your home hair free.

Easy to use pet hair brush with hard shell case. I have a 15lb dog peke/bichon mix and she has very long fur and this really helps with getting off the loose fur. She didn't seem to mind me using this brush on her at all. I like how the brush is very sturdy without being too bulky. The handle fits very comfortably in my hands. Its hefty and feels very sturdy. I don't suggest this for any dog smaller than mine though, its a pretty big brush that I bet works WONDERS on a Husky. Highly recomend this brush to pet owners. Great product and well made!

Wow, I used this product on my dog and it didn’t take much effort to get all the loose fur off of him. He looks so much fluffier and lighter, I didn’t even realize he had so much loose fur before. I really appreciate that this product is so gentle, as I have always had a fear of using a deshedding brush on my dog and ruining his coat. Dog didn’t mind it at all. Only annoying part is removing the clumps of fur from the brush, but that’s not even a big deal, comes out with ease. I like that it has a storage case as well.
