My cat loves this, and so do I! I was hesitant due to the price but after reading the reviews and reviews of the less expensive models I went with it! This a VERY strong bed and made with great quality. I put her old little blanket in there for familiarity and she didn’t skip a beat. My girl is about 9 pounds and it’s like she isn’t even in it! I had a small cat tree by my desk but it was taking up too much space, this was a perfect solution. You won’t be disappointed. The packing was excellent as well as you can see. I did go to the website for the company and ordered the wrap around cover for the top of the bed for comfort, I wish that was available on Amazon but it was free to ship so really a win win!

Very sturdy and well made. It costs a bit more than others but it's great quality. Only possible downside, is it heavier than I expected and needs a good solid desk or table to support.

Quality is nice, easy to assemble, great addition to share your workspace with your kitties!For some reason, they called to confirm this order around Christmas which isn't ideal if trying to surprise someone but the item itself is great so far and nice to support a small business.

TLDR: If what going to lay in this bed matters to you more than anything you should make sure the bed is safe for something that important! The Desk Nest is the best built one I could find and it is even better then I thought after doing my research plus its assembly is very easy.Full review:We foster for the SPCA and have 3 cats (1 we call Big Gurrrrl) of our own. They are littermates so they love to lay on top of each other, switch beds ( I have two beds on my work desk as I work from home) and occasionally (often) fight over the beds even though 1 of the two is completely empty. Cats lol.I have worked in construction and in heavy industry so you never really know how something is built till you try to operate it. These things were built and in my opinion overbuilt in the way products used to be done. I love that and that's why I am taking the time to review this so you know this is the one worth put your little monsters in! I have to do audio recording for work now and I have the two cats beds overtop of a 1k audio processor because my desk is struggling for space. It doesn't worry me at all as I think its more likely my desk will collapse before these beds do! Plus the beds work as a barrier to stop the cats from walking or laying on the audio processor and now they lay on the bed instead so these things were a double win for my unique situation!You know those memes where the truck crashes and flips over and the load is still held on my some straps doing God's work. This bed is those straps and I can't recommend them enough. I have given them to family & friend who love their pets as much as we do along with recommending this to other fosters in the SPCA.Also the assembly was super easy. They give you the shims and others parts included incase your desk isn't uniform. They could have charged extra and didn't which just says even more about the customer focused company. My mother in law was given this and I told her I would come over and assemble it so she didn't have to stress about it. On a phone call to come over she opened it to check it was all there and wanted to try it on her own first. In 10 minutes after opening it she has it fully assembled and a cat laying in the bed. She joked that if everything was that easy she could build all her own furniture!I will not be surprised if this becomes the gold standard in these style products. Desk Nest people seriously thank you so much for not making some cheap piece of crap. Please start making a bunch more products as I would rather pay slightly more for something that lasts instead of everything I own falling apart in a year or less.

I was part of the Kickstarter program for the Desk Nest, and after I got mine, I had to get two more for my niece and her fiancé!! Having a place for my kitty to hang out that’s not on my keyboard is the best!! He also likes being up a little higher, and can see out the window! Great craftsmanship and so easy to set up! Absolutely great product, and such a good gift!

All 3 of my cats LOVE their desk nest. My longhaired cat used to be a pest about being on my lap or splayed out on top of the desk whenever I was working. Now, he happily curls up in the Desk Nest and my workspace is open. It is very easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. If you work from home and have a velcro cat/cats, you need a Desk Nest!
