This cat stand is beautiful! It was easy to assemble by myself, but an extra pair of hands to hold it steady while it's upside down and you're securing the bottom leg bolts would be helpful. One suggestion: If the stand will be positioned against a wall, install the sisal scratching leg on one of the outer corners instead of the center of the base as shown on the instruction sheet (the 3 main legs are all the same length). As you'll see in the photo, our stand is positioned beneath a window, so the scratching post has to be on an outer corner to be accessible. (Yes, I admit I had to go back and switch them out after my daughter noticed the issue. 😜)Atticus is a long-haired Norwegian forest cat, and it's great that his shedding won't be as noticeable as it has been on the light colored stand we're replacing. However, the main reason I chose this stand is because of its sturdiness. He's a bit of a big boy (around 13 lbs), and the old stand wasn't as stable as this one. My hope is that he'll use the lower "basket" as a launch to the upper basket once he figures out that's possible. He's an older gentleman of 12 yrs and starting to struggle a bit with jumping, so I want to make it easier for him.Again, it's beautiful, and I highly reccomend it.

Gave it 3 stars because it is perfect for the space where I needed it, an exercise pen for a cat post spay surgery. It is short enough so she wasn’t jumping up and down too far, a step to save her from jumping up and down and a bed up top that was about the height of the window sills so she could see outside. Those are the pros for my situation. The cons are that there is zero padding of any kind (she doesn’t seem to mind), the material sheds a lot and she managed to rip off the material on both posts on either side of it in no time. It’s barely glued on at all. So far the sisal rope is still attached to the middle post. She loves this thing, it’s afford and easy to assemble. Just know that it’s not a quality piece of cat furniture.

It took me about 5/10 mins to put this together. Its a really good size for the price. All of my cats are older and they all fit in the top and 2 sat in the smaller one. Its a great little resting spot for your cats and great quality. This is the 2nd one i have purchased and I highly recommend!!

The size is perfect! My kitty now has plenty of room! She loves it! It is really well made, not cheap, and when I put it together, it sits very flat and sturdy on the carpet! No wobbling like others I've had. Which was important to me. Color is beautiful against my gray drapes, it's very soft and she can walk right into it from the recliner, it's a perfect height for her, and not to big and bulky. It's so worth the money! I would highly recommend this item!

It’s very nice looking and the warm medium brown with black colors fit in well with my decor. The 3 posts attached to the top level make it very sturdy. My cat loves to jump up on it and it remains stable. He likes sleeping on the top level but is too large for the lower one. A small cat or kitten would probably find the lower shelf a nice place to curl up in. For it’s aesthetics, sturdiness, ease of assembly and my cat liking it I give it 5 stars.

Nice for the price! I watched this bed for almost 2 weeks and the price changed 3 times from about 43.00 down to just under 27.00 and grabbed it. I knew that was about the best I was going to get before it started going up again. The top bed is perfect for a large cat and the bottom might fit a kitten. My cat can use it as a step. It is covered particle board, fairly easy to put together once the holes are lined up. Just follow the instructions! It's not very well padded so I used my cat's other bed in the top to give it some cushion, and it will be easier to keep clean that way. Just wash the cushion and spot clean the rest of the bed. I wish it was taller, but figured that out too. She likes to look out the window from her bed, so I put a strong wicker basket container underneath the base and it comes even with the window. She also climbs onto the window sill, but now she can look out either way. She's old and spoiled, but I like it that way!

Bought this for my three-legged, 8-pound, Ragdoll cat because it's low (only 23 inches tall) and easy for him to jump up on since he struggles with our other/taller trees. This one is a compact cat tree that is inexpensive yet sturdy. I'm going to make a pillow for the top perch because the fabric covering provides absolutely no cushioning, but the fabric does look nice. It's a thin, furryfuzzy fabric that adorns most inexpensive cat trees, so it's not the thick carpet you'll see at places like Petco, so I'm sure my cats will scratch through it sooner than later, but some sisal rope from the hardware store can make a quick solution to the posts getting scratched up. The fabric does shed some too, so I simply vacuumed off the pieces before assembly.The top perch is 11.5 inches by 19 inches and also fits my 17-pound cat...though the fit is snug for him. The bottom perch is 11 inches (diameter) and only big enough for my adult cats to use as a step, or to sit on. My foster kittens do fit, laying down, very comfortably on the bottom perch.The tree was very very easy to assemble. Took less than 5 minutes from cutting open the box to letting the cats inspect my work.I would definitely buy this tree again, and I may buy a second one of it so my three-legged boy can have another perch by the back door.
