This spiner is great, used my air hose to spin it fast. It went for over 47 min.

Fine if you only spin it by hand but if you give it a really good spin up it does not balance. And if you spin it up faster using any other means this imbalance becomes unstable and extreme.For the cost of a machined fidget this is really unfortunate... Because it does spin a long time even slowly due to the weight of it. But you cannot spin it really fast without it becoming a toy you cannot ever set down else it will rattle and knock itself all over your table or nearby objects.Bought on a sale. But I would never recommend this at full price.

I'm sticking with 5 stars because it really does spin a long long time. 1st time I tried it I also timed it and got well over 40 mins to my amazement. I have found a grumbling issue but I think this is a harmonics problem. I've tried a few methods to spin this faster and faster and discovered you can spin it too fast!!! When that happens, it wobbles quite vigorously. As a result the spin time decreases substantially. So there is a definite sweet spot of spin pressure which will provide 40+ mins of spins but you can spin it too much. None the less if you spin it by just using your hand (and it doesn't need much) it spins solid for some time.One quirky thing. I have this on a polished desk and I didn't like that the metal was resting on it so I ended up sticking a couple of thin rubber pads to the base to avoid any possibility of scratches. I must say though, there is NO sharp metal on the frame at all and perhaps I am just being overly sensitive. None the less, that's an individual picky thing and easily resolved for my own satisfaction.Love the purchase. BTW, I bought the Gray model which was half the price of other finishes... I actually quite like the finish myself and I think I got a super deal. I recommend it.

Most of these newer desk gadgets claim they can spin for a really long time, but then when it comes down to it, if you can get it to go a minute, you've done well for yourself. With this one, the moment you take it out of the box, you can tell it's going to be different. It's got a lot of heft to it, and not only that, but it's very well balanced, so it doesn't take much to get this thing going, and stay going for quite a while. Even my wife commented on it, asking if it was on a motor it had been going so long. It's a fun little thing that sits on my desk and is a total conversation starter. Would make a great gift!

This desk toy is super cool. It’s a weighted disk that will spin for about 30 minutes total. I use it with visitors in my office and they are always impressed with how well it spins and maintains the spin. It’s an interesting piece that grabs their attention and helps to spark a conversation. It’s been a nice addition to my desk setup at work.
