1. Turn of f your computer and disassable the side panel of your computer case
2. Find the correct hole position from the rear part of the chassis, and lead the cable into the chassis.
3. Find the jumper position of power on and power LED terminals on the mainboard,replace the jumpers in turn and install them in place.Using the same method, install the HDD LED and RESET SW terminals in another row in sequence, and then check the POWER LED+and HDD LED+ according to the diagram, ensure that the positive electrodes are installed correctly
4.If you want to retain these functions on the front panel, you need to use the one split two adapter for switching
5.Inspect the installation position are correct, restart your computer and ensure all funtions works as normal .Use the tie to sort out the harness, and put the switch into the right position.

Has two small pieces of round double-sided tape on it so you can mount it if you want to, then the cord is long enough that it reaches from my floor all the way through the computer and then up to the desk. I bought it because I was tired of reaching over and down to the computer all the time so I was looking on here and saw this and thought I'd give her a try. And of course it was delivered fast and it lights up when you turn it turn it on it's great

Delivered in a small carton, this lightweight desktop power switch looks good, and works great!Made of lightweight plastics, this external power switch is a bit of a featherweight.While a chunk of weighty steel in the housing would be my preference, at least some double-sided tape was included, so you can affix it firmly to your desk.Despite the lightweight construction, it feels quite well-built, with nicely molded plastics, and a pair of MX keycaps.The cable is quite long, and the connector splitter works well.In use, the switch works great, and looks good!That said, I do wish they had chosen to use a tactile switches (either classic Cherry Blue, or newer Kailh White style switches) instead of Red linear switches.If there were hot swappable, I would change them myself, but unfortunately, they are not, and the case is sealed quite well...16€ (at time of writing) does not feel unreasonable for a niche product like this.Though I do wish they had other switches, it does work quite well, and looks good while doing it, so it gets a recommendation from me 👍🏻

Ob man so einen Switch nun wirklich braucht oder nicht, muss natürlich jeder selbst entscheiden. Da ich aber gerne mit solchen Spielereien experimentiere, habe ich mir diesen Remote Start Switch geholt – auch wenn mein Rechner direkt im Schreibtisch unter mir steht. 😄Nach einer kurzen Installation und dem Verlegen des doch sehr langen Kabels funktioniert der Switch einwandfrei! Es ist super, den PC mit einem Knopfdruck ein- und auszuschalten, und die Beleuchtung sieht auch richtig gut aus. Alles in allem ist es eine praktische Erweiterung, die genau das tut, was sie soll. Sehr zufriede

Kurz und gut: der Artikel ist astrein und ist ein super Hilfsmittel beim Eigenbau oder einfach zum Testen, die zum Teil abenteuerlichen "fliegenden" Verkabelungen sind Geschichte. Wobei ich den Verdacht nicht los werde, dass ich einfach nur hinterm Berg wohne und sowas wie diesen Artikel verpasst habe.Wie auch immer: tolle Funktion, sehr gute Verarbeitung, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine Empfehlung wert.

Der externe Power- und Reset-Button ist gut verarbeitet und überzeugt durch eine durchdachte Funktionalität. Besonders praktisch ist der integrierte Verteiler, mit dem man die Power- und Reset-Tasten am Gehäuse weiterhin nutzen kann. Die Tasten selbst haben einen angenehmen, weichen Anschlag ohne Klickgeräusch – sie erinnern an hochwertige Tastaturtasten.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Schließt man die Power-LEDs an, leuchten diese sowohl am PC als auch am externen Taster. Das ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern auch optisch ansprechend. Das Anschlusskabel ist mit knapp 2 Metern ausreichend lang und ermöglicht eine flexible Platzierung.Besonders nützlich ist dieses Produkt auch für alle, die häufig an Mainboards arbeiten und schnellen Zugriff auf Power- und Reset-Funktionen benötigen. Insgesamt ein durchdachtes und gut gemachtes Produkt.

Could probably be intentional, but the key switches dont feel as clicky. Doesnt feel like a switch.

I’m happy with this power/reset switch combination from Azmxdvp. It features a 2-meter wire leading to the switch pod. The switches and LEDs serve as your computer's power switch, reset switch, hard drive activity LED, and power LED. The power LED backlights the switches with a shifting rainbow color effect, while the HDD activity LED is red and visible through a small hole in the plastic casing below the power switch. The keycaps on each switch are created double-shot style so the light passes through the keyfaces. The individual wires in the casing are a bit thin but still manageable.One unique feature of this power switch is the pin connector splitter. Instead of duplicating the standard pin layout, it splits each pin signal into two pins linearly to the side. This can be confusing, especially since front panel connectors usually follow a standardized layout but the splitter creates a different pinout.This setup is an upgrade from the bare switches I was using on my bench test computer, though it’s a bit more expensive. At $15, it’s not exactly a great value but it addresses the unique need of having a remote set of power/reset switches while still keeping your case's switches connected.

This gadget works great . I like the feel of the buttons , very light yet positive .HDD LED is rather small but does its job .
