I recently got a Raspberry Pi Model 4B and needed a power adapter. The price was reasonable compared to others that I looked at. There are some that may be a few bucks cheaper or more expensive from speciality sites but once you include shipping, around the $13 - $20 range. I like this one as it has an on-off switch given the Pi itself does not.It basically does the job. It's been a few weeks and nothing crazy is happening like short circuits so I'd get it again. There are similar ones out but whatever you get, make sure it has an on-off switch.

I have an arcade running a pi4. The power switch broke so i replaced it with this. The pi4 is inside the arcade cabinet not easily accessible so I don't know if its on or off because my previous switch was just a button. The power indicator light let's me know for sure if it's on or not. The switch cord is a little short but I made it work by moving the pi closer so it can fit in the slot. After setting it up, the power button isn't visible in my arcade which prevents unwanted shutdowns. One last unintended but very welcome change is that when I press the power switch button, it automatically turns on the TV in the arcade (tcl roku). I had to manually turn it on before and this was the only thing that I changed in my arcade.

This CanaKit power supply runs much more stable than the official RPI4 power supply. I got random freeze with the official RPI4 power supply and I cannot even have the Pi run 24 hours under load without manually reboot it. It takes me forever to figure out this issue might be power related. I saw the CanaKit power supple specifically mentioned it has a noise filter for added stability, and decide to give it a go. It works for my setup! Now I can run 24/7 under load without any issue. Strongly recommended for anyone want their Pi to run reliably.

Extremely happy with this purchase. This combination of power supply and power switch works perfectly with my Raspberry Pi 4. After you have fully shutdown the operating system by using the menu button, or the appropriate command in the terminal, simply press the on/off button on the Pi Switch to turn off the power. When you're ready to use RPi 4 again, simply press the on/off switch again to boot up the Pi. No more pulling out the cord or pushing it back in to power RPi 4 on or off. Excellent product!
