This my first diving mask, and I gotta say its pretty damn awesome. The build quality is very good, and fit my big ass head perfectly. Great for surface noobs like me who wanna see what's down under.

I had used one of this type a while back but lost it in a fire. This is a great replacement and truth be told even better than the one I had. This one has some great features like the flip up shade, the fold down mouth cap. I normally wear a large in this type of mask but the XL fits just fine as well. There is plenty of adjustment in the straps to keep it as tight or snug as you want without pulling out hair or giving you a headache. I can't wait to get to Jamaica this summer where this snorkel will get most of its workout. Try as I might, I couldn't find anything interesting in the bottom of our pool. I haven't seen it mentioned in other reviews, but I think it warrants bringing up. As a 60+ year old denture wearer, who doesn't always like to keep them in, especially while on Vacation, this is fantastic. No mouthpiece to pull on the dentures. No trouble getting a lip seal around the mouthpiece and best of all, zero chance of dropping or losing them on the ocean floor. Grab one and let's go Snorkel.

This mask is QUITE the contraption, but it actually works amazingly well! I got this for my wife for a trip because she doesn't like traditional snorkels and isn't really comfortable with the idea of breathing in while her head is under water. You can imagine this causes her to not like snorkeling, something I LOVE, very much. I thought I would give this a try and I got this out and assembled it in front of her, showing her how it just fits over your whole face and lets you breath normally. She actually laughed at first, saying she thought it would make her look like a Cylon, but when she put it on, she was instantly sold. Snorkeling in Cabo last month, she got to really give this a try and loved every minute of it! Even the visor, which she thought she'd never used, turned out to be an awesome addition on mid-day snorkels (when it's best to be out there!)I'm sure this would also be great for kids! Well made, sturdy and highly functional as well as confidence-inspiring. Get one!

Bought several similar masks 5 years ago for a family vacation. Five of six loved them , the sixth preferred a regular snorkel set, think he had a beard at the time. One with a mustache but no beard was unable to get a good seal with a regular snorkel so these type masks are vacation savers for mustachioed . We used them on vacation after practicing in a pool. I would seriously suggest doing that beforehand. They can make you feel suffocated after being fully submerged. Panic mode. They take a very short time to get comfortable with.Taking the old mask apart to repack was impossible without breaking the clips. That’s the first upgrade on these, they can be disassembled easily.Snorkeling you see amazing things that you want to shout and share. The old mask you had to remove the entire mask for anyone to understand you, these have a flip out mouth piece.This new mask also has a sun shade over mask. Don’t know how that will affect visibility so the jury is still out on that. It does look easy to remove.GoPro can be attached.These are not for scuba or diving. The big surface area acts as a float. You can dive shallowly but you’ll feel it trying to bring you back up.The plus side, that big area is great for a nice panoramic view.

Unfortunately the next warm tropical water snorkeling and diving vacation is still months away, so going to post an initial review of the Xyuee Devilfish Full Face Snorkel Mask with a focus on features, fit, and sizing now (I got the XL), and hopefully update later after getting in some actual saltwater activities. Initial reactions on the features include: 1) The flip-up dark "sunglasses" lens is very dark. Sorry, but I just don't see the need for this feature, but it is removable, so will be leaving this off; 2) The little "clips" that may hold glasses on the inside of the mask are a bit odd. I do not need these, but it appears these clips are soft silicone and fit in two little holes in the clear plastic face of the mask. So, because there are holes through the mask can not remove these when not needed (like in my case); 3) Because this is a full face style mask, having the option to unclip the panel over your mouth may be a useful feature to be able make it easier to quickly speak with your snorkeling partners when surfaced without needing to remove the whole mask (which is more involved than with a traditional style mask). Next important topic is the sizing, the guidance from the product listing based on a face measurement would have directed me to the large (L) size, however from experiences with all manner of hats, helmets, PPE masks, etc, I have normally needed the largest size in these products, so I ordered the XL size (normally wear a 7 3/4 hat size for example). And indeed, this was a good choice, certainly would not have fit in a smaller size and perhaps would be OK in even a larger size. But do get a good seal from the mask with the straps adjusted to the longest end of the available range. So from my experience, would suggest considering sizing up from what the size guide says. Hopefully will be able to update review later with more real in-use information after the next tropical waters trip.
