I live on a small ranch and use the weed whacker to cut down weeds. This did not do the trick. This would work really well if you only have a small yard and you’re just trimming around your grass. Just not as powerful as I needed to be

I love the weedeater. Cuts very quick and easy. The blower isn't the strongest but it is plenty strong enough to get the job done. Plus it's nice being able to use all of my dewalt batteries interchangeable

I have always used large commercial gas units and still do often. I started with a summer campsite and found the noise was too much for the campground. These 20volt dewalt trimmer and blower are awesome. Trimmer cuts very well with a long battery life. The blower does a nice job for being electric but will drain battery quickly. It's not a problem since I have many large batteries from my other tools. Just change out and keep it clean. 💯 satisfied with this purchase. Thank you

This trimmer has a LOT of plastic parts on it that make it feel very fragile. And it's that hard brittle kind of plastic too so I'm gonna be very careful with it. My lawn is about 2 acres with lots of trimming and I was able to get most of it done on a single battery so that was great. I have a bunch of dewalt batteries so it's no biggie to swap out for a fresh one.That blower though!!! Love it. Lightweight and powerful. About as loud as a shop vac.Overall l, I'm cautiously optimistic about my purchase. Time will tell. I'll update this review if anything breaks or fails.

Like these tools a lot. Light but not cheaply built. I appreciate the convenience of not using extension cords. Only wish the battery life was longer, but assume the technology will improve over time.

This trimmer and blower are a bunch better than the motorized counterparts. Their lightweight and no messing with fuel and oil mixture. The battery lasts for just what I need, I purchased backups just in case. The blower really blows some concentrated air, I was impressed. The trimmer, all I have to do is keep it on low and it whips right thru the trimmings. I would purchase again.

I love that these tools work off the batteries I use for my Dewalt hand tools. The blower is awesome and better than my gas-powered blower. The trimmer is ONLY a weed-eater and does not allow the variable attachments that I would like, so I have to buy a second device to edge the grass. Also, I have been having issues with the string feed - I have had to remove it several times due to the line not feeding out properly and getting pulled back into the spindle. Not sure what is causing it.
