Unfortunately I had to buy this to replace a multi pack of inexpensive ones I bought and all broke after a dozen or fewer holes in OSB. So went with the known brand and am very happy, used it on hundreds of holes so far

I love these drill bits. So handy. I use them all the time particularly this size. It’s nice to be able to get just this bit rather than buying the set of three when it’s only this one I need to replace. That’s the good.I’m surprised at how quickly they dull and how often I break them. I don’t think I’m particularly hard on drill bits. I’m a homeowner doing diy projects not a contractor. That said, they are indispensable and I’ll keep replacing them and I haven’t found anything better.

Good in a drill or hammer drill/driver. Makes countersinking easy and fast. Great bit to have in the woodshop.

I have used many counter sink drill bits but these are definitely my favorite. They are 1/4" drive which is handy but what I like most is the tapered drill bit. The depth is easily set and the counter sink cutter doesn't seem to clog up like others I have used. I carry these in my service truck and have them several places in wood shop. I will definitely keep buying these.

I'm a builder and use this product dozens of times a week. There is no comparison between these and the industry standard straight but countersinks. Whereas I would break standard straight bit countersinks on a regular basis, these are easily 4x stronger and last for years rather than days. Also, It's much cheaper than the Fuller brand tapered countersinks and works just as well.Highly recommend this product.I purchase a few of these a year as I

I am not using this for my primary countersink but only when I need to utilize that long drill bit. So pretty much I am not using it for intended purposes. I tried but it works sub par comparing to another brand I am sporting.

When my bits finally broke after years of valiant service I went with a cheap set of Milescraft. Big mistake! Less than 24 hours after receiving them I was logging back on to re-order the Dewalt.Dewalt VS MilescraftTapered Bit VS Straight Bit2 large locking screws firmly secure bit VS 1 small easily stripped locking screw that does not adequately secure bitHex shank locks into place on quick change tool VS Hex shank poorly manufactured and will not lock into place4 Sharp cutters provide clean hole VS Dull single cutter causing severe chip out and burningHigh speed hardened steel is pretty durable VS TiN coated brad point pilot drill bits break extremely easilySpin true VS Wobble more than a drunk penguinDon't make the same mistake I did and try to save a couple bucks at the risk of your sanity. Just be smart and get these from the start.

The Dewalt graduated drill bits with built in countersink are the best drill bits for general wood working. The 9/64 size is perfect for drywall screws (#6) and larger sizes are also available. At my local Home Depot these only come in a 3-pack (3 different sizes) and I almost always only want the #6 size. Luckily, that is available from Took King. These bits make a larger hole where the screw enters and a smaller one where the screw starts to bite into the piece being screwed into, eliminating the situation where the screw tightens into the first piece instead of the second.
