Came with everything needed to assemble to my 705 12” saw, fit perfect. I was glad to find this, I have been periodically looking for this extender and was worried that I would never fine one. Low and behold they pop up on Amazon.

I confirmed with desalt that this was the appropriate part. The guy that worked for desalt actually went and got his, and tried to see if it fit on my model of chip de. IT DOESNT FIT! Ugh. So sick of companies not doing their homework. Don’t order this.

Did not fit securely bolt given did not fit right had to use a different bolt it broke off inside so it's in there forever. Had to put padding on the side because if you hit it you will cut yourself. Another bad engineering design from DeWalt

Very nice item. Bolts on easily. Use wing nut to make adjustments easier.

While you're waiting for it to arrive, run to the hardware a pick up a 5/16" wing-nut. This comes with a standard nut, which means you'll need a wrench every time you wish to extend/retract the arm. Wing-nut would have given it a 5.
