If you are purchasing this hose kit to use on your Dewalt drywall sander (DWE7800) -- it will not work. The hose attachments (on either end) will not fit the machines vacuum port. Otherwise a decent hose kit. A little on the stiff side, which I do not like.

Bought this item hoping to at least form a connection to my Ridgid shop vac with a healthy collection of adapters and duct tape. As it turns out, the large plastic ring shown in the photo can be pried off leaving a 2-11/16 I.D. connection for inserting over the Ridgid shop vac inlet, which fits perfectly without any additional adapters. It's unthreaded but holds solidly. The item came with all the parts you see in the photo minus of course the Ridgid vacuum and Dewalt sander.

A lot of people have complained that they could not get a longer vacuum hose for the DeWalt corded/cordless vacuum. This works.

YES! Dewalt, vacuums are not your thing, but this hose is excellent! The price is right, the anti-static feature is not advertising, it does work extremely well. The hose is the perfect length. Your locking system for attaching hoses is secure, easy to use, and saves time when swapping hoses from machine to machine. I use this hose on my festool vacuum and prefer it over the festool hose. Its slightly more rigid than festools which keeps the hose straighter and I do prefer that rather than the hose binding or looping up.
