Cheap (expensive for what you get) crap! Squeaky, uncomfortable. THIN mattress. and frame is about 2 inches from the floor. Practically have to roll off it to get up.

It was missing screws but at least there was some in extra. Spot of missing paint right out of the box. One mesh from the seat frame was not fixed to the frame. Another one was so sharp it did cut through the mattress. The mattress is in bad shape and not uniform due to the fact that is was folded in four in the box. No instruction in french even tho I orderer on amazone.ca but hey who care right!? I should have spend 200$ more and have a decent one from the store. Amazon for small and cheap things, not for a futon, I will remember.

As is custom the product was not as nice as is pictured.There is only 1 vertical support in the middle of each side of the frame, not 2 in the back as pictured.The frame connectors are 1-2mm smaller diameter that the bars they join. Can be remedied by 2 snug layers of electrical tape on the frame connector before joining the frame.The mattress is thinner than shown, almost 5" brand new and let expand from packing. It is a weaker mattress, I am only ~135lbs and will likely throw a folded blanket or two on it if I sleep on it.Annoying beads (as pictured) in the mattress. I'm ignorant to the purpose other than aesthetics and discomfort.The threads for the screws are almost all bad. Every screw went in at an odd angle, or very toughly. The screws are cheap and the warped threads will try to rethread the screws. I had a few better quality replacements that rethreaded the bars. It is likely going to be necessary to use your own coarse threaded 9/16th screws, which are cheap but a nuisance.They are generous with extra pieces. The bolts and nuts and all the pieces work well, save for the screws and their destination threading. They give you a few screws but they're not likely to help.The instructions were ok, although contradictory in one regard. The support bars, 2 to each half the mattress frame, are pictured as going on in 2 different ways. I believe the initial way is correct, but it is pictured multiple times the wrong way afterwards.I would not have paid $100 for this five years ago, but in the age of America's economic demise, it's ok.

You get what you pay for honestly. Will only be using for a couple months for sleeping but the quality isn’t that great. It sits super low to the ground, the “mattress” is so thin, that when I sit down on it I can feel the bars through the mattress, is now making a lot of squeaking noise & it’s hard to get out of. Had some trouble putting together but you can find a YouTube video to make it easier. I would honestly pass on this item and it wasn’t for the take down and trying to ship it back easily ( which seemed impossible) I wouldn’t have kept it.

I can't believe I found a futon this quality from Amazon. Came Ina big box. Futon frame in parts to assemble. Good quality metal frame.Mattress is nice and thick also. I have geusts sleep on it and they say they slept well.

This thing is very cheaply made. The welding broke on parts of the seating and I have only had it two weeks. It doesn't fold out flat and everything rolls towards the middle. Getting out is a chore because it sits so low to the ground and the armrests don't help, at all.The mattress is even worse and it quickly lost integrity over the last two weeks.

Came with every screw nut bolt and 90% of the tools you'll need the one that it didn't come with a Phillips head screwdriver the holes are too small for the screws to go into and it was already pretty broken two of the wires snapped it was very very difficult to put together and my husband ended up stripping out a bunch of the screws because it was so difficult to put together so now it's going to be even more difficult to take apart later not worth the money I wouldn't have given it any rating at all but it made me give it at least one star to me it's a zero o

I found the futon to be ready to assemble in around an hour. My daughter has been using it as a bed and says it is very comfortable. I was not happy with ask the metal cups that came out of the legs of the futon when I was assembling it. Made quite the mess when I laid it parts. Seems to be study and easy to open to a bed or set as a couch.
