MUCH better than my wife's old hair dryer I've been using for years. Used it recently to install some car accessories that had adhesion tape. Everything is holding due to heating the tape (per install instructions). Inside and outside of the car.

Went with reviews over prices and turned out great. It had done everything I've asked it to do so far with no issues. Gets plenty hot and quickly.

Used it for surface mount soldering. Flows solder paste reasonably on the high setting. Hot plastic smell the first time you use it. Recommend running a few minutes outdoors to cook it all off before using inside.

This is a great go-to tool for electronics work. It's an ideal temperature for melting heat shrink tube and softening adhesives on electronics. The form factor is also easier to work with than the 90-degree hair dryer style ones.

Great heat. Easy to use and hold. I haven't used all of the attachments. I like the dial and it did what it was supposed to do.

Size is alright. It's hand held. Pumps out some heat for being compact. It has 2 speeds. Design is comfortable, and lets you achieve some level of precision.Durability seems alright. There was a caution sticker on the packaging talking about how the first time using it might melt the glue inside and make it smoke, but I didn't see or smell any. If you need a heat gun this will do it for you.

The heat gun is great to use , however it is bulky hard to get into tight spots, it works well taking paint off stair rails and spindels , i would look for one a little smaller next time, this heat gun is still a good buy

Great heat gun at a resonable price. Works good. Stands up nice on table, has rotating cord in bottom of handle so makes movement easy. Only small issue with temp dial. Its Inset abit so hard to change heat setting with gloves on. But no biggie. Usually no gloves. Nice heat gun.

I bought this gun to be able to shrink my PVC tubes for my lithium and AA/AAA batteries, other than use a lighter or my wife's hair dryer. I get the perfect temperature (set to 2.5) to slowly shrink the tubes to get the perfect result. It works perfectly. Highly recommended. Sturdy. Do not expect a high air velocity gun. A++

Works fine, heat is okay. As for quality, the fit and finish could be better, but at this price range, it's expected. The wheel temp adjustment was a tad stiff and the smooth plastic made it hard to get a grip to rotate, over time, it loosen up. The rectangular plastic edges around the temp dial felt a bit sharp, probably flashing from the moulding process, a quick sanding fix it.the attachment went on quite well, had to loosen the large enclosed heat spreade. Overall a good buy.
