Please confirm the size of diamond you want to test.
Ii is very important to COMFIRM SIZE of the diamond for getting a correct reult!
Adjust Size from the Wheel
Please choose SIZE by adjust the wheel upper right.
S FOR diamond less 0.5 CT
M FOR diamond between 0.5CT —1CT
L FOR diamond lager than 1CT

Doesn't give consistent results. Ininderstand that moissanite will show as diamond on such a toy of a tool, but I tested it against 6 known diamonds and it failed 4 times. Designed is horrible, inaccurate and a waste of money. Lights are bright but they mean noting.

Def not accurate! The green lines didn’t move at all. They just blink. I even tested on jewelry that I got from a Jewelry store with insured diamonds and it just blink. And ITS NOT RECHARGEABLE it has to stay connected to the usb to be used.

After fiddling around with this diamond tester for a bit, I’m fairly certain I’m getting accurate readings. The included instructions aren’t that easy to follow, but after a few SLOW reads & fiddling, I’m pretty sure I’m set.I like that you can power it via the included 9V battery or the included usb cable. Comes with a nice little case too.I’m really digging the 60X loupe. It’s much smaller than I had expected it to be, but works quite well. The white lights are plenty bright & the UV light is great for checking currency. The magnification is nice & clear. This one runs on LR1130 batteries (3) that are included & already installed. This also comes with a little carrying pouch.All in all, this is a nice little set to start out with. I think if I get more into buying & selling more diamond jewelry, I’d plunk a chunk of change down on a pricier unit, but for a couple of one-offs here & there, this’ll do me fine.

i mean...i'm not a fan of the instructions, or lack thereof. and i can't verify that it is accurate just yet....i can verify that it hasn't had any false positives, which is almost as important as false negative.i can verify my door knobs and my keys are not diamonds....so i mean, thats pretty good....
