Works well enough. For a unit in this price range.Accuracy for wind is claimed to be +/- 5%Accuracy for temp. Is claimed to be°c +/- 2°c°f +/- 3.6°fIt seems to work within those parameters.Comes with instructions, a lanyard, hard plastic case that protects it, and a flat plastic 'coin' to unlock battery compartment.. Also includes (1) 2032 button battery.I'm not collecting scientific data, I just need to know general conditions... So this unit works well for me..Seems durable, and well made.

I had high hopes for this digital anemometer. The design is almost a duplicate to others I have seen popular video review websites. It tells you the wind speed and has the ability to toggle thru different units but I'm a bit disappointed in the sensitivity of it.I stood outside under my covered porch while it was raining and the tree limbs were visibly moving around. I held the anemometer up in hopes to get a reading but unless there was a gust of wind the fan blade didnt spin and there was no reading. So I though maybe it was me doing something wrong. But then i noticed the lanyard that is supplied with this item was hanging down and it was blowing. That pretty much confirmed my suspicion that this anemometer is just not as sensitive as it could be. As another test I walked at a good pace around the inside of my house holding it straight up in front of me. Still no reading. Several other videos i watched online all showed there anemometer providing a reading while just walking thru the house. In conclusion this is just not as sensitve as I would like it. However, it does work with higher speeds.
