We run a humidifier in the winter because our furnace dries out the house. I like to know if I am keeping the humidity high enough. The Wisebee combination indoor room hygrometer, thermometer, clock, and calendar gives me the information I need. I don't really need another clock to change twice a year when the time changes, but it's a nice feature. The unit comes with instructions and a CR2032 coin battery. The battery compartment access is gained easily by using a coin battery, nickel, or quarter to turn the back about 20 degrees. Programming is accomplished by three buttons on the back. There are two magnets on the back so you can stick the unit to a refrigerator or metal filing cabinet. There is a plastic easel on the back for standing the unit on horizontal surfaces like a desk. Humidity comfort ranges are documented in a ribbon across the face of the display and there is a little face icon that expresses either happiness, ambivalence, or dissatisfaction depending on the current humidity reading. I sat the hygrometer next to two other hygrometers to compare readings. The three were within 1% of the same humidity and within about 3 degrees Fahrenheit. The Wisebee gives a relatively accurate reading compared to other standards I have available. I love the large display with big, bold numbers for the humidity and temperature. Those are the two most important numbers to me and I can read them from across the room on this unit. Kudos to the designers. This is a nice little hygrometer.

TLDR Summary: It's a good thermometer that's easy to use but missing lots of little features.It's difficult to say what people want and don't want in an inexpensive thermometer, so I'll just list some of the pros and cons and let you decide if it's worth the price.Pros:- Easy to set up.- Accurately displays current temperature and humidity (along with the date and time).- Large text.- Small form factor, so it can easily fit on a desk or crowded shelf.Cons- Uses a CR2032 coin cell battery (somewhat non-standard, but easy to find).- Installing the battery is not straight-forward. Had to angle it in and force it to be installed properly.- Once you open the stand, it does not want to close. Feels like you are going to break the stand if you apply too much force.- No backlight.

It's small (slightly larger than a credit card), but the numers are conveniently large on the display...which makes it super easy to read temperature and humidity levels. I'm using it at my cubicle at work, so I was not aiming for having a large and distracting screen. It appears to be accurate, I tested against another thermometer. I appreciated that it came with a button cell battery, so it was ready to go. Super easy steps to setup date/time/unit preferences. Bonus feature is having 2 built-in magnets that allow for convenient placement options.

This is a small little thermometer that gives the date time and humidity.I put this in my basement in my 3D printing room just to know the ambient temperature in the humidity if I have to dry out filament or not.Two things one this did not come with a battery.It takes a 2032 coin cell battery which should be on most car key fobs.Second is the viewing angle is not good on this if you look at it straight on it's fine but at any angle it starts to get washed out.The second picture I tried to capture that.If this came with a battery and the screen wasn't washed out this would get four stars at least.I do like that there are two magnets on the back of this so you can hang this on a metal cabinet It would be even better if there was a little screw opening on the back to where you could hang this on the wall.

This Digital Hygrometer Humidity Meter not only provides humidity readings but also displays temperature, time, and date. It continues to be very accurate. It's small and can be used anywhere. I use this for gauging the temperature inside my proofing box for my sourdough. It helps to monitor the ambient temperature so I can adjust settings if needed. It also helps me accurately measure room temperature to adjust accordingly. It's been very helpful and it's the perfect size for what I needed.

The standout feature of this temperature/humidity monitor is its large sleek display. It displays temperature, humidity, date, and time in a clear format that’s easy to read. There is also an emoji which displays when humidity is ideal, high, or low. At an ideal level the emoji displays a large open smile.To confirm accuracy, I compared the data on this monitor to at least two of my other temperature/humidity monitors in the house, and also to my AC thermostat. It is calibrated well and does provide accurate figures.For me, this product pretty much exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely purchase again.
