Smart Emissivity Design
Emissivity is a measure of a material’s ability to emit infrared energy. It is measured on a scale from just about 0.00 to just below 1.00.

I have been using the thermometer for a few months and it worked fine, but then started to deliver out of spec readings. I contacted the seller for assistance, but they were not helpful and did not honor the warranty. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying this product.
