Very simple basic but reliable and accurate. The only thing is to let it acclimatize to the room before you use it. Other than that it has been a great purchase.

Works well usually but often times when I use the product it freezes up and the only way to get it to work again is to remove the batteries and put them back in

Was delivered this afternoon and I'm pretty impressed so far. It's super cheap is is fairly accurate at about +/- 1 degree.also comes with batteries which is always a nice to have even if they don't last long to begin with. I also like that the display is backlit making it easy to read. As a note I do want to say, do NOT listen to many of the comments about it not working correctly. With these infrared thermometers, you CANNOT point them at a reflective surface. Think about it for a minute, this uses light to measure temperature. Pointing it at a reflective surface, the temperature that it is going to read is either ambient temperature or the temperature of whatever is in the reflection on the surface.

Great! I bought this specifically to check the temperature of my banger before loading in any concentrates. It also works well for checking the temperature of a room. Doesn’t really work to check human body temperature (in case you’re looking for something similar due to COVID).It’s definitely as accurate as something like this can get. I’ve been using it for around 10 months and haven’t even had to change the battery, which is fantastic.I love that you can turn the laser on and off, and IMO having the laser off is better for checking glass temperature.I wish it stayed on for longer than like 10 seconds (unless you’re repeatedly pressing the trigger), but it only takes a couple seconds to turn back on again. Easy to use & highly recommended! :)

Bought the thermometer in mid 2019 and the accuracy was not great but neither it was horrible. Used for my different repair and engine maintenance projects and when the COVID hit and all of these products where price gouged it helped me a couple times as well.As any infrared thermometer, they are not able to measure internal temperatures for obvious reasons. However these are of great help to directionally pointing you to check for fever as their measurements are around 1 to 2 F less than if measured with oral thermometers (found best spots are pointing inside the mouth or to the parietal lobes)The little guy's sensor unfortunately started to be unreliable today as when I was trying to use it again today the indicated surface temperature of my freezer showed 623F even with a new set of batteries. However I let it sat for a couple minutes and started giving accurate readings as well. Because of this flicker I consider it not too reliable anymore so mixed feelings about it now..

This is the smallest most lightweight infrared thermometer I could find. It works amazingly simple!!I use this mainly for 2 reasons:1. I like to fry food so this is perfect for a quick reading on the frying oil.2. I’m a cannabis user and this gives me a almost perfect reading for my dab rig.Not only is it simple to use, but it takes 2 AAA batteries instead of 9 volt so it should be cheaper to maintain with rechargeable batteries.For the money I would definitely purchase one again if needed or even buy one for friends. I have found that the uses range from finding exact heat flow temps from each heat vent in the home (to ensure even heating), anything cooking related, or even checking air flow temps in your car. Honestly if you have never had one you will probably be checking the temperature of EVERYTHING!!The only down side so far is getting exact measurements on tiny areas less than an inch wide, but it just takes getting to know where the laser exactly is pointing at. This really isn’t a bad thing because you will find that ‘sweet spot’ once you use the gun a few times.

Seems to work ok until it gets cold. It was reading 500 degrees when I was using it outside in the cold today at -9. You really have to be careful not to measure anything to far away either as it's hard to tell exactly what it's picking up. Keep it below 6 inches
