The product came with dead batteries. That is not OK. Better to not include batteries at all than to include ones that are useless. Instructions awfully small text and graphics and could be written and organized better as well. On initial use, the thermometer itself (with my own batteries) seems to be reasonably accurate.

The temperature reading is quick and easy. As far as I can tell, it is accurate.

The thermometer responds quickly and well within the temperature range I expected. It has a laser pointer that helps to ensure you're pointing the thermometer where you want to measure the temperature. It is inexpensive and does what you need.

Bought it for kitchen use, mainly to measure the oil temperature. It is very handy to get the temperature instead of guess how hot is my oil. One thing to note the temperature is only accurate when there is water or oil in the pan, if you only meansure empty pan, the readings is very unstable. Overall for the price it is decent

The screen is very clear and can be seen clearly under very bright light, and it has a laser sight that makes it easy to locate the location I want to measure.
