I installed it at the furthest fixture from the TANKLESS water heater, which was the laundry room. I had to buy adapters and longer hoses to complete the install since washer hook-up are not NPT thread pattern. The first thing I did was hand fit the location and plan everythisg out. I installed the supplied brass T-fittings to the unit hot and cold fittings. Who's stupid idea was it to put the power cord attachment directly in line with the T-fitting and hose path? Just not smart, move it to the side of the case. Next I attached the four hoses. I used two 20' to go from wall valves to the unit, and two 36" hoses to go from unit to the washer. Used Teflon tape on all threads. BTW, that stuff is cheap. You couldn't supply a small roll? Took three times to get the supplied T-fittings to not leak at the union with the unit. Frustrating. Now to the biggest complaint.....That bracket is awful!!! Yes, it might work ok on a smooth cabinet surface but it is terrible for drywall or wood. And it transmits the vibration and noise of the pump (more later). I would pay $20 more for an extra or better bracket that is sturdy, maybe rubber isolation, that can be screwed to a wall or wooed panel. I ended up drilling two small holes through the center of the hard platic part of the mount so that I could screw it to a 1x6 that I mounted on the wall, across two studs. The unit is heavier than expected and the hose put some tension on the assembly as well. Please address this flaw!The instructions for programming are terrible. If you are going to sell in US you really need to support Farenheit scale. That said the unit did work and makes ny Navian WH fire up. I have mine set at 42C. I have instant hot water at washer and 5 seconds at the kitchen. The master bath on the opposite side of the house is 30 seconds, because it is a different pipe "circuit" but it used to be 2 minutes so it is better.Noise.... the pump is not terribly loud but it does resonate through whatever it is attached to. Again, my suggestion for engineering a better, tubber Isolated mount, that is screwable to drywall/wood or mounted with Command strips. I will probably fabricate something when I have time.So there you have it. The price point is about 1/3 the cost of the water heater piping installed unit used in conjunction with bypass valves at the faucets. I was willing to take a chance on this. I might reconsider the whole house system from this company if they can bring the price down and reviews continue to come in.

I'm so thrilled that I was unable to find the recirculating pump I used in my old house and had to find an alternative. This instant hot water pump was inexpensive enough that I could "try it" without breaking the bank if it didn't work out.Very easy to install with the included hardware, this pump is reasonably quiet when it's running and allows me to skip the almost 2-minute wait to get water to my bathroom faucet. It's efficient, and has been working flawlessly now for almost a year.A FEW TIPS:1) To avoid the extra cost of "instant" hot water 24-hours a day at a faucet you don't use that often, connect to a smart plug that you can turn on as needed. I created an Alexa routine to "Run Hot Water" that turns the pump on for two minutes, to get hot water to the faucet, then shuts of automatically.2) These pumps work by pushing the water from the hot water line down the cold line until the hot is at the desired temperature that you set. That means you have WARM water in the cold tap - if you're just washing your hands or brushing your teeth, you can avoid running your water heater more by just using the water from the cold-only faucet. This is a great way to save even more energy (and cash).

We were looking for a solution for recirculating with a tankless water heater. Most don't work because the valve that released hot water into the cold water doesn't have sufficient flow to trigger the heater.We installed the HBS24-12T and it works brilliantly. BUT please note the following:* The instructions on setting the schedule leave a lot to be desired. To set the schedule, you must scroll through each of the 24 hours and select ON or OFF for that hour. I have now set ours to be off between 9p and 4a.* The unit, while not intrusively noisy, does make a noise when it goes off. Our runs about every 16-17 minutes. We only notice it when the house is quiet, but we can still hear it. Just be prepared for that.* While the brass fittings are well machined, be sure you have the T's on very tightly. I thought I had the hot water T on tight, but it leaked all over our cabinet. Nothing too serious, but it took a extra muscle to get it tight-tight.* You need an electrical outlet underneath your sink. Most modern homes should have one; our extra came as a feature of our garbage disposal switch unit.Otherwise, it is SO nice to have instant hot water. It took 1:40 for hot water to reach our kitchen sink. Now, it's 1-2 sec. All our neighbors have been asking about it, too!

Product does work, make hot water always available at tap. However when using only cold, not matter how long I let it run it is always luke warm. I understand with the way this pump works some hot water will be in the cold line. Even letting the tap run for 10 plus minutes on only cold, the water never gets cold.
