This item would have been perfect for my needs, but it arrived with a slit cut through the plastic packaging and through the corner of the foam itself. It wasn't worth the hassle to return because it was still usable, but I would be careful if gifting this item, as there is obviously poor quality control for sales of this item.

This works well for me, but after about a week of use (6-8 miniature felting projects), I noticed the center was depressed and softer. It seems as though every time I felt it takes out little pieces of foam. While this hasn't impacted my work so far, I wonder how long this is going to last.

I was using a magic eraser before this, which actually worked really well, but little pieces would get stuck in my project. I decided it was time to get something made for needle felting, specifically. This works much, much better.

A decent felting pad, and nice and thick to hold needles. Quickly develops a dent, and deteriorates. Finding more and more foam particles in my projects.
