The DInkle DIN connectors have punched holes in them to install shorting bars. These shorting jumpers are specially made to plug into the DK4N connectors. The jumpers have special contacts on them to provide the proper contact force and have the proper plating to handle the rated current.These shorting jumpers come in various lengths. There are no alternatives.They are easy to install. A must-have for building power distribution systems with the Dinkle DIN rail connectors.

I am not a guru in DIN rail accessories or equipment, I've just taken an interest in them because I feel like they could work well for what I do at my company. I am an EE in a manufacturing plant, and we've made great strides over the years to improve upon many things, our PCBA testing hasn't seen as much growth as other areas. We use PLCs for in our testing lab for precertification reasons, but that's about it. Many of the functions used on testing for testing our PCBAs could easily be implemented on a simple PLC and would make maintenance much easier. I don't have much of a voice in the company unfortunately, so my alternative method is to demonstrate why it would be advantageous for us to go this route.But these worked great for jumping across connectors for commonly used nets, like power or ground. Took a bit of a push to get the in, and that's probably normal. Again I am a newb at this stuff. But once it was seated properly worked exactly as expected.
