About this item

  • Direct replacement for your vehicle's flasher relay
  • Prevents hyperflash errors
  • Simple swap for original module
  • Compatible with LED bulbs

Hyperblink Fix. Why do you need this module? When your factory turn signal bulbs go out, your vehicle's flasher senses that less power is being used, and it will blink the turn signals quickly to alert you. Since LED bulbs use less power, you get the same fast blinking, known as hyperblinking, even though the LEDs are functioning just fine. Basically, your car thinks the bulbs went out! To slow down the blinking to regular speed, you can add resistors to increase the circuit's power consumption again. However, whenever possible, replacing the flasher with a module like this is the easiest option. Simply unplug your original flasher from under the dash, and swap it with this one to prevent hyperblinking. Quality. The flashers distributed by Diode Dynamics are produced by industry leaders such as Novita. Watch out for generic cheap flashers, as many are slightly too large and may not fit properly in the socket. I purchased the first one and was immediately pleased that the hyper flash was gone. Then after almost two years, it stopped working. I thought it was the bulb, but turned out to be the flasher. I reached out to Diode Dynamics, and they promptly sent me a replacement. Now, after another two years, the replacement has failed in a similar way, where one turn signal stopped working. I reached out to them again, but they said since I'm out of warranty, I will have to purchase a replacement.Personally, having had two failures in a few years, the only reason I would continue using it is if their support team stood behind the product. There's clearly some reliability issue, and it doesn't seem right that it should consistently fail after a short time. I will find an alternative.

installed flasher module and tested correctly. Then I went for a drive and talk about hyper flash. it’s a mili second flashing cycle now. not sure what changed from install to first drive. I can’t recommend this product unless someone reaches out to me to correct this issue.

This module is required when updating old incandescent turn signal bulbs to LED's (Toyota Matrix 2007). This module eliminates hyper flash. There are several YouTube videos that explain the install, it was easy. The entire job, including switching the old bulbs to LED's, took under an hour. Works great.

This device, without a doubt does work perfectly for LED signal lights that's an easy fix for hyper flashes.

This flasher module fit my Outback perfectly. It clicks a little louder than the original, which I like; and it makes the LED turn signal lamps flash at a reasonable rate! I highly recommend this flasher.

This was a straight plug in and use. Fit without any issues , direct fit in bracket and cannon plug. You just have to take your time pulling the panels off on your dash. There are plenty of You Tube videos if your not sure or enough info to feel your way through the process.I wish I recorded my install because nothing was on-line on my year. But everything is close enough to figure it out.total time for remove and install 2013 forester was 10 mins.watch how cannon plugs are disconnected, squeeze clips, or a tab to clear a lock with a #1 standard screw driver inserted enough to slide cannon plug out-no plying- EVER

Easy to install and fitment is PERFECT! No need to "trim" like other brands require.

UPDATED RATING: Started acting weird after 2 years. Right turn signal blinks for a tenth of a second, but doesn't hold the light on long enough to be obvious to other drivers. Flash indicator on dashboard doesn't light up. Works fine for all other functions, including left turn signal. Even the right side lights hold on when hitting the lock button, so I don't know why it's not working correctly for the turn signal.ORIGINAL RATING: Plug and play. It's programmable to do different things. Hit the lock button on the remote, and the flashers turn on lighting up the area around the car. The hazard lights strobe, so it stands out in an emergency or warning situation. These are functions found on newer cars. Highly impressed! You can find a video online explaining how to do the programming.
