If all you want is a lower resolution image and slow notifications but something easy to install & use, these are perfect. Notifications via the paid subscription are about 3 minutes behind - odd but that is how it works despite having great signal. Light years better than a battery operated system but nothing like a POE system’s cameras.

I set them up when we’re going to be away overnight so I can check on my lizard’s tank mostly. They’re so easy to set up and take down. There’s a big range of view and the night vision is good enough for me to see a thermometer. You can also zoom the picture with your fingers, like on an iPhone. The dLink app is easy to use. I get pissed off pretty easily with tech stuff, but this almost runs itself. I’ve added different dLink cameras for different purposes and in different homes and I can see them all from one app. I live by these!

Great product and when using the Mydlink app instead of the Lite app it serves its purpose with cloud recording.

Excelentes, son fáciles de configurar y mi prácticas, su tamaño es perfecto para colocar en cualquier lugar. Lo único que no le gusta es que la aplicación en ocasiones falla, tengo internet a 60Mb y a veces had retraso en la imagen y audio.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!!! I used the dlink to keep and eye on a relative that suffers with early dementia and it is awesome. I am a female and I was able to hook up the security system and the optics are amazing for these cameras because they are small, but the view is panoramic. The night Vision is unbelievable the only drawback is the audio, but I can live with it because I can always call the house if I see something amiss-which I did one day and immediately called and asked the sales person to leave.

This product is great! I purchased the duo package and have one camera at my house and the other at my mom’s house. The normal view is good and the night vision is good too! That are simple to install and easy to use with software.

I have a wide assortment of security cameras, including tilt-and-swivel models, older non-HD models, and circular style HD models. These new D-Link security cameras are my new favorite. The form factor is excellent -- very small and discreet, for situations where you don't want to feel like you're in a bank. Power supply is a standard micro USB, which is an excellent choice, since it means you don't lose the whole camera if the power supply goes. Resolution (720) and viewing angle (120) are not as impressive as D-Link's Omna HD camera (1080 and 180, respectively), but this HD Mini is also about one-third the cost of the Omna, so the price-performance rating of this model is excellent. Installation was very easy with the D-Link app -- worked the first time when I added the new cameras to my existing list of devices. In terms of physical design (very discreet), performance (good viewing angle, good resolution), and price, this is an excellent security camera. In fact, in my opinion, it's the best choice on the market right now.One caveat: This camera is best mounted at chest or eye level. It does not have an adjustable tilt base, so if you mount it high up, like on top of a tall bookcase, you'll see a lot of ceiling and not the floor. For the ones I have mounted up high, I use small plastic shims, but the angle still isn't right. Best mounted on a counter, dresser, desk, or bookshelf. The small, discreet form factor is a big plus, but coming at the cost of an adjustable base makes this a trade-off worth thinking through carefully, since it limits flexibility in terms of where you can put this camera.UPDATE: I recently installed a couple of these in an elderly relatives apartment and discovered one downside that may or may not be an issue for you. The camera makes an audible click when it shifts from daylight to low light (IR) mode. Not a problem if it only happens once a day. But if the camera is in auto mode, where it automatically switches modes based on available light, and there's a variable light source (like a TV screen) in its field of view, the camera will switch repeatedly, and click audibly each time. This really calls attention to the camera and can be annoying. Not a problem if you're using the camera to monitor an empty home, but if you're using for monitoring an elderly relative and want the camera to be discreet and forgotten, this can be a real issue. This is still my favorite camera based on price/performance for most applications, but if you need a device that is audibly as well as visually discreet, I'd give this model only 3 STARS. Choose accordingly, based on your situation.

Was thrilled when camera was setup and worked within 5 minutes and delivered crisp clear, wide angle video. However, the fact that this camera cannot send emailed images is a non-starter. DLink cameras from 2012 have this ability! What is the point of getting a motion notification, then having to access the live feed? Whatever caused the motion is long gone. Returning and bought up the older 932 cameras on ebay.

I don't understand the bad reviews,The only things that these cameras are missing are 2way audio, and AUTO recording...You can record the video with these cameras but you have to push the button on your phone app.The motion detection and the audio detection work fine. Actually the message that arrive to my phone and to my email is really instantaneous!Another nice thing is that if you disconnect the modem (or if the thief cut the internet cable) you will receive a message on your phone saying that the camera has been disconnected.The night vision is fine too. It light up an entire room.The image quality is very nice.I guess the price is right...If they don't brake soon, i'm happy with them!

I LOVE these newer DLink cameras! I only give a product a good review if it deserves it. I have bought other DLink cameras and they work good, however these cameras were very easy to set up. If you have trouble figuring out the set up process, ask your 10 year old kid or teenager to help you. Set up is as easy as using a smartphone. I LOVE the camera view and the motion sensor is more accurate. Of course there will always be one or negative critiques, but they can’t please everyone. I would buy this camera again and again.
