For Ansi rated carabiners this is the best value. I prefer DMM’s triple lock open action to any other brand. The spring is strong and has a bounce back that helps them last years.

These are pretty. For tree climbing triple action is required. I do lots of canyoneering as well and find triple action to be the wrong choice and prefer double action. But for trees these are great and lovely.
