I tried fixing my sink plug with parts from Home Depot, but it only included one size ball. The Amazon order, however, came with two sizes, making it a simple fix. I highly recommend the product.

Delta does offer a replacement part, but it doesn't work for all their drains. This comes with a couple options and works perfectly.

This was the perfect replacement part for my discontinued Delta RP72472 facet and drain kit. I couldn't find the correct parts anywhere else and took a chance on this since it offered several options at one low price. Turns out the gray nut which looked just like the part that came with my kit (but cracked and leaked) was exactly the right part. Fixed my leak for less than $10.

The steel rod worked well glad I didn’t throw the cap away, placed rod and old cap went on great and working fantastic. The cap part was too small.

Bought a kit from Home Depot that didn’t work for my Delta popup drain. Bought this and it worked great. Even came with the right ball size and gaskets unlike the Home Depot kit. It even came with a grey plastic winged nut like the original one which worked perfectly.

Read the horror stories of the screw on ball versions being lose so went with this one where the balls are pressure fit or molded on for no problems. I still had to hack saw part of the rod to fit but other than that it works fine, very solid. I do wish these things were made of stainless steel, but I guess not at this price.

It worked well. Needed to reuse the original threaded cap to secure the pivot rod in place. It took awhile to get the tension core to do that the drain stopper stayed up until pushed back down. Saved the price of a plumber’s visit.

This item us so hard to find in ordinary DIY stores. A cheap solution to an expensive problem. Saved me having to install a whole new waste.

I tried to find a replacement ball rod at my local big box (Home Depot, Lowe's, Rona), smaller hardware stores and plumbing supply stores but no one carried this simple part.My pop up drain assembly was a generic brand and the existing ball rod corroded away. I didn't want to replace the entire pop up drain assemblyfor this one part. This product contains two ball rods with the diameter of the balls being slightly different so it should fit most pop up drains. It is reseaonably priced and the deliverywas super fast.
