It's a very nice looking pet gate and higher than most of the normal ones we had been using. It's very easy to set up and can stretch to accommodate a variety of different width doorways. The only issue I found with it is the bottom if it's not mounted super close to the floor it's fairly easy for the dog to push under it. I wound up having to put a board temporarily along the bottom edge until I can get a threshold or something to stop him from doing it. I don't think this is a high security pet fence because of the bottom being so easy for small dogs to push themselves under. Other than that though it's a pretty versatile unit. I think after I put a big enough threshold there to stop him from to go under it will be much better. I think if they had weighted the bottom side of it somehow it would have made it tougher for them to push under. but I understand having it roll up is an issue when you go to try to add thicker material for weight. Regardless of the issues I'm still happy with it over all the other pet gates we've tried so far and I'm glad I got it.

This worked perfectly for my extra wide doorway to keep the puppies and kiddos out of the kitchen. It was super easy to install and it’s strong and sturdy. I’m very happy with it.

Overall I find this style to be a better value for money than the full metal type as it is less child prone, it blends in better, and it quickly gets out of the way 97% of the time. Like most gates it has a lock that works fine. Love it and it was super easy to install.This is my second gate of this style and it looks much better quality and was much easier to install. Compared to full metal fences which are hard to move quickly, look ugly, and tend to be more expensive I can definitely recommend this style.

This looks to be a high quality, durable product that is fairly easy to install. Instructions are a bit confusing, but that's par for the course on a lot of these items. The biggest challenge is finding the best way to attach it to the wall and mount the hooks on the other side. They have foam sticker pads for both sides if you so desire, but I found the wall anchors to be the best way to mount on hollow drywall areas. They are not the usual cheap looking and often unusable drywall anchors. These are solid, high quality plastic drywall anchors! If you have smooth walls that you can use the sticky ones that are much easier to mount if your surface will take it. I used the sticky ones on one side because it has nice, smooth panels on that side. I used the wall anchors on the other side for the hooks since it is hollow drywall, but you could find the studs to screw directly into if you wanted to.Lining it up can be a pain, but if you do your measurements and perhaps use a laser to get it all straight and lined up, you'll have a great, easy to use, gate. We only needed to keep the dogs out of the hallway at night, but got tired of setting up a baby gate every night. This was perfect for the job, even though it was for a narrow hallway. Pull the slack and hook it on the bottom and top, and reverse the process to open. It is similar to the window shades that pull and retract, but much better engineered and built, with the ability to lock it open or closed.My biggest complaint with this is the price, but if I was using it in a wider area, I may have a different perspective. I haven't shopped others like this, so I may not be a good judge in this area. It is a solid product with hardware to mount in practically any situation included in the box. This is soooo much better than using a standard baby gate or fence! It is heavy duty and would most likely work well outdoors on a deck or other opening you might need to close off from time to time.

This is a great barrier. I used it to build a wall and my dogs wouldn't challenge it. Installation was very simple without looking up instructions and it opens and closes easily without much effort. It is solidly constructed but like I said before I wouldn't trust it to block anything as it is just a barrier.

I personally think this one works great. Doesn't take up much space at all. It comes with all the parts you need. It's very easy to use and the height is perfect. It really helps to stop pets from walking through it and it looks like good quality with the grey color. Everything I bought matches well. It has a nice little lock on the top. Overall I think this is a great product. I actually bought it for my grandkids as both of my kids use this type of door in our home.
