Description says fits up to 120 lb dogs. It was too small for my 60 lb dog. But for ten bucks I bought a replacement collar and read the instructions ten times. The instructions are clear, I’ve just never used a training collar before. I appreciate the many functions and that you can opt not to use the shock. Call me silly but my dogs are my babies and I don’t want to cause discomfort. But I had to do something. Big boy has taken to barking at nothing at night and getting all the neighborhood dogs barking with him. On weekdays, at night! I don’t want to be “that neighbor” with the loud dog.Now that you have the backstory. Here’s how it went. After getting his collar to size, I held down the power button for two seconds to power it on. Pressed the Mode button to just beep. Quick pressed the power button to put the sensitivity level to normal (2). Put it on big boy when he asked to outside around 9 at night and watched … he barked, it beeped, he looked side to side, decided barking was not a good idea. So this works. It really, really works!!! You can set it to beep and vibrate and other settings. The instructions say not to leave on for more than 12 hours. But I’m only putting it on before letting him out at night and taking it off when he comes in, I suppose that will conserve battery rather well. And that’s the only time he barks, so… This is a welcomed fine and great value.

This bark control collar has been a fantastic solution for managing our Cavapoo’s barking. First, I appreciate how the strap and collar are ready to wear. No trying to figure out how to put the unit together with the strap. At first I thought it was going to be too complicated for me, but the instructions made It easy to set up and test.I really appreciate how customizable it is. I hoped not to use the shock option, so I unscrewed the metal posts (electrodes) and put them in the provided zip storage bag. FYI: There are two sizes of metal posts and covers provided to protect the dog’s skin, if you use the shock option.I’ve tried previous “no shock” collars and they weren’t as sturdy or have much power behind the sound or vibration mode. This one does – and it works! You can choose between sound, vibration, or a safe electric shock—each with adjustable intensity levels. For our dog, the vibration is enough to make her stop and think, NO BARK!There is a LONG strap on the collar as you can see from the picture. Once I cut the strap to the right length, our 12 pound pup had no problem with wearing the collar. It’s easy to charge the collar with the unique magnetic charger, the buttons are easy to push on/off, and the display is bright enough for poor eyes.I’m VERY SATISFIED with this bark control collar. We don’t keep it on our pup all the time – just on the days when she needs a reminder or when she is out in our backyard.. She’s not afraid of having the collar put on, either, but she knows it means no barking. I highly recommend this collar for a quiet, peaceful dog partnership!

So I have never wanted to use a shock collar on my dogs, I have never thought that was ok, and thus we started with a shockless vibration only collar which at first worked wonderfully for our dog. But then he learn to challenge it and it stopped freaking him out and did nothing. As my spouse and I suffer from chronic severe migraines, during the spring we just couldn't take the random barking anymore all day long and with work we couldn't always be reprimanding him every single time. So I tried this collar, since the shock mode can be completely turned off, and I tested it on myself first. The shock definitely stung a bit but it was mostly just alarming and felt like someone stinging you with a static shock, so it wasn't really that bad either. But it was definitely enough! The AI also works beautifully in this collar and it does not go off unnecessarily and does not always shock the dog if not needed and adjusts the intensity of the shock as necessary. On level 3, we almost never have any unnecessary barking (yet he can still communicate and play and growl and howl and cry and do a single low alert bark without being shocked) and we have never had to raise the intensity level.What's best about this collar though are the prongs! They can be adjusted for different sized dogs and the rubber tips definitely protect my dog's neck and do not stab him yet still transmit the shocks and vibrations. So far, so good. In my experience, my dogs seem to get "acclimated" to the various dog collars I've tried over the years. Of my three dogs, one is using this collar, while the other two are using the ones I was previously happy with. So far, there is less barking with my dog with the ImyasPet collar, but we'll see if she adjusts to it or not.

Works well with dogs helpd them realize there barking my only thing with these is there like 5 levels an it takes the dog like 5 barks to realize to be quite, so the dogs are still some what barking. Beeps loudly, kinda long battery depending on the dog. Very sensitive dog runb her head on the floor an it beeps.
