We have a 90+lb. mix breed as our family mascot and best friend! His arthritic condition along with his weight and age have really made things tough on him getting in and out of our SUV's and pickup. He immediately understood what it was for and gets excited when he sees it because he knows he's going for a joy ride!

I like that this product seems to be made of solid materials. The frame is metal and the ramp has good grip for my 90 lb dog, but overall it was difficult to fold and unfold smoothly without squashing my hands and fingers in it. The way it folds just isn’t easy to do for me at all.I am happy I found one with similar positive qualities that is a sliding telescoping type instead, not to mention it was 60$ less!

Got this because our Senior GSD can’t spring lithely into the back of the truck or SUV anymore. This ramp is simple and light enough my wife or daughter can easily open and position. Now to get our big baby to calm down and trust it. He doesn’t like the angle, so sometimes it’s a bit of a rodeo. When I’m around and provide some food motivation (a Jerky treat or two), he’ll use it, but he still doesn’t trust it; when Babykins is by herself, he just doesn’t like it at all…we had to get a sling harness to help lift his rear up into the vehicle. Maybe if we had started him as a pup, it would be better.Quality of workmanship is great; good sturdy materials. May be a bit short for any lifted vehicles or trucks — angle is quite acute. But solid, light, and handy.

The outside box was not damaged so the shipper had to know the ramp box was torn and damaged. The ramp had multiple places that were dented and paint scraped off so, I’m guessing it was used and returned before being sent to me.The ramp itself works as intended and since I needed it quickly for my dog whose legs are failing worse each day, I kept the damaged ramp. This is the second one I have purchased for the dog to get up and over steps on each side of the patio. The first ramp was in perfect condition and the damaged ares on this one are glaringly obvious when compared side by side. I feel a bit cheated by being sent a damaged item, but I will keep it because I needed it now! I feel the ramp is sturdy and very useful. Ire ramp is easy to fold up and move around. It states it can hold up to 300 lbs but I doubt it would. I’m about 125 lbs and the dog is 25 pounds and we both can be on it and it feels sturdy with just slight bending. I would be careful putting more weight than our combined weight of 150 walking on the ramp.Overall a very useful tool to help my dog navigate steps in her later stages.

Nice metal frame and foldability, but not the most durable for outdoor use. Have had permanently mounted outside off porch / into yard, in about a year panels are sagging and losing rigidity. Fine for small dogs, but 70lb dog flexes panels when going down. Had to put extra bracing underneath so she wouldn’t push through. Can be a little slick when wet too. Overall a decent investment and will likely replace within 2 years. If not used outdoors would last much longer.

I have an aging Labrador retriever who currently uses stairs but will eventually struggle with those. We proactively purchased these on a price drop. Easy to use, fold up to the up little space, and are very sturdy. The lab learned to use them quickly.

This is sturdy but we should have bought a longer one for our truck. I think this size would only be good for SUVs or shorter trucks. We have a chevy Silverado 2500. That makes the ramp really steep and we have to help our older dog up it. Our puppy runs right up.It has a short strap I think for attaching it to your truck so it can't fall while they are walking up it but it is too short to use on our truck so we just have to be careful.

I use this on my front porch. I think you could use it with a van but not anything higher than a van. Works great on my front porch though. Folds up easily and easy to move around. Won't work with my pick-up. It's not long enough for a pickup. It wild be too steep from ground to truck bed.

This ramp was such a pleasure to use. Our 12 yr old shepherd and 18mn Airedale both use this ramp with ease. So long as they are standing at the bottom of the ramp heading up. Very easy. First older dog wanted to come at the ramp on the side, not so good, but moved to foot of ramp and right into the truck. Easy to fold and put in place and we are both older like 78 and 81. Price and quality excellent.
