I’ve been really happy with this dog lick mat. It’s well-designed and super easy to clean — the fact that it’s dishwasher safe is a big plus. The suction cups on the bottom do a great job keeping it in place, even with an enthusiastic pup. It’s a great way to slow down feeding or just give my dog a calming treat activity.

This Dog Cat Slow Feeder Bowl with Silicone Lick Mat is a game-changer for both mealtime and calming routines. The soft silicone material is gentle on my dog’s tongue, and the raised patterns help slow down her eating significantly—no more gulping or choking! The suction cups on the back work really well on smooth surfaces like tile or the bathtub, keeping the mat firmly in place during use. I’ve also used it to spread peanut butter or wet food during bath time, and it keeps her occupied and calm. It’s super easy to clean—just rinse or toss in the dishwasher. The size is perfect for small to medium pets, and it’s great for both feeding and enrichment. It’s also held up well to repeated use. Overall, this is a high-quality, versatile feeder that helps with digestion, stress, and keeping pets happily distracted. Highly recommend!

Boy do our dogs love this lick mat!It keeps them busy for quite a while. The snuffle mat part of it however, was no match for my food obsessed pittie. See the photos. He did enjoy it otherwise! The suction cups stick really well, but it's also easy to remove the mat from whatever surface you put it on.One section of the lick mat is a little hard to clean out, but not impossible! You can see Murphy doing the snuffle mat/flower section.MADE IN CHINA.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this. The silicone was thick and sturdy. I immediately washed it and used it to feed my dog for an interactive meal. For reference, I have a 75lb hyperactive German Shepherd who tends to eat super-fast. It took her 25 minutes to eat 2 cups of Purina Pro Plan, and 2 tbs of wet pâté. It was great, her mind is sated and 30 minutes after eating she is quite a calm puppy. I would definitely but this again! The clover patch did hold 2 cups of food, though I would recommend 1 cup if you really want them to "snuffle". The other textured areas were just the right size to add supplements and other tasty bits. The suction cups held superbly on my vinyl floors. I really am quite impressed with it! I expect cleaning the smaller nooks and crannies to be a downside, but the benefits far outweigh that.

I have a husky that begs like crazy at meal times and was hoping something like this would slow him down and decrease the begging behaviors, but also be a fun sensory thing for him.Quality-wise: the entire back is covered with mini suction cups, which is excellent to prevent my pup from just picking up the edge of the mat and shaking out all the treats/kibble and defeating the purpose. The silicone used to create the mat is very soft and easily washes clean. It's entirely one piece, meaning water won't get into some type of crevice and get moldy. But - the silicone is also very soft: if you have a dog that likes to chew, it certainly doesn't take much effort to chew off one (or more!) of the "trees." The peanut butter area (or whatever you may choose to put there) is really nice. It has a texture and small diamond shapes, which takes longer to eat all the peanut butter. There is a tiny "water dish" which Ive been using for banana slices, mini treats or other yummies. If you have a small dog, or maybe a much calmer dog than a husky, you may actually be able to put water in the little circle, but my fur child just sticks his nose in and blows water bubbles everywhere.Overall, this has been fun to use. It's something new to experience and explore. I don't use it every day because I want it to retain some of the specialness and "treat-ness." My original goal of hoping to decrease the begging behaviors hasn't been helped much, but I still like to watch my pupper snuffle his way through and enthusiastically eat peanut butter. I do immediately have to pick it up because otherwise he will chew the little trees off. My 4/5 stars is because of the easy destruction of the mat. This has been super fun to use and my husky is always (!!) enthusiastic.

Nice idea, but didn’t slow my pup down much. He enjoyed sniffing, but the mix of patterns didn’t offer much challenge—he breezed right through it. The flower shapes looked interesting visually, but didn’t offer much resistance in practice.• Doesn’t include a spatula (which many others in this range do)• Might be better for beginners or light sniffers• Material feels fine, just didn’t meet expectations for engagement
