It’s advertised as meant for cats and dogs on the Amazon page but when I received the package it stated it was for dogs with zero mention of cats. The silicone toothbrushes are too large for a cat.

I ordered these because I needed something to come the next day when the toothpaste would also arrive. The brushes I wanted were going to take a few days to come and I was impatient. Upon first use, my cats destroyed each of the toothbrushes and bit through them so easily to the point that they were already in half. There's also a small, pill shaped piece of silicone in the head that they can choke on if they do bite the head open and swallow it. I should have looked more closely at the product listing--because I thought at least I'd have the finger brushes to fall back on. But rather than being silicone, they are just fabric and also pretty useless for trying to clean an animal's teeth. Use something else--these are pretty useless.

My cat has periodontal disease and we have been brushing her teeth for several years. She does well with a 360° toothbrush, but the normal ones I buy were not available so I thought I would try these. She bit through the brush on the first use, ripping the tip, I was worried she was going to choke on it. Also, the finger sleeves have no texture to them, so they would not be any different than just using a piece of cloth to scrub the teeth. This was a waste of money.

Worked surprisingly well with an unenthusiastic feline dental patient. The brush nubs are gentle and flexible enough to clean near the gums.

Brushing my dog’s teeth is never fun, she hates it. I have used different brushes on her from dog bristle brushes to kids just to see what will work for her and me. This tooth brush is interesting since it is made of silicone and is probably gentler for her to withstand. I was able to brush the outer surface of her teeth as the sample video shows, but of course when I have her open her mouth she wants to bite on it. I am not sure if it will clean or keep plaque off, but at least I’m able to get the dog toothpaste in her mouth and rub it around with this toothbrush rather than just rubbing it with my fingers or hurting her. Something is better than nothing. But the brush is made well.
