This is a great concept, just my dogs did not like it. Tried for several days he just refused to drink from it, I even pressed it down so that the water would cover the lid area and nope he just did not like it, I tested it out with the cats and they were fascinated with it for a short time and then turned their noses up to it. It is well made and seems like it would last, the price is not going to break you. I wish that my dogs and cats liked it.

I really like the simplicity of this bowl. Assembling it and filling is simple. The center piece floats and keeps the exposed water to a minimum. This definitely keeps the splashing to a minimum. It's easy to clean and refill. I'm very pleased with this water bowl.

I have never seen a water bowl like this. The design is quite clever with a floating plate that keeps the water contained until it is pressed down by your pet. If they are on the smaller side (like a cat) they can even just drink from the small paw print shaped hole in the center. It might require a little bit of teaching, but most pets should pick up on it pretty easily. The manual mentions that some more playful pets might think it's a game and play with the water causing spillage, but this hasn't been the case for me.

This is definitely worth the money! It’s heavy duty and holds a lot of water. I got it for the vehicle for when I take my dog hiking. It holds a lot of water!It’s a wide base dog bowl and has a lip on it that prevents water from spilling over and also acts to hold the plastic floater plate in place.Your dog has to gently push on the float plate to be-able to drink. I have a dachshund and his tongue is small enough to drink out of the paw print on the plate. My bully has no issues with sticking his nose in and drinks.I would definitely recommend as an option for vehicle rides or messy drinkers.

The splash resistance dog water bowl work swell and is easy to clean. It turned out to be a bit too small for our dogs (120 lb and 75lb) but they could easily use it and liked the interface. Once we noted it was too small for our large dogs we tried it with the cats and they either could not figure out how to get water out of it or they could not push down on the top part the floats enough to get water into it. My aunt has a smaller dog and he loves the bowl.

The way this was designed is a stroke of genius...based on simple physics of floatation... The little insider piece rises and falls with the water level, so it's easy to see just how much water is in the bowl, and it doesn't tell to attract as many probing paws as one of our cats was always doing... seemed she was always needing to test the water level before she drank.This one, tho, provides clarity of where the water line is, and she doesn't tend to poke her paw in nearly as much.The little floaty thing does sometimes get a bit waterlogged after a while and floats less... But it's easy to take apart and drain again to put it back to perfect order. And besides, it's a good idea to take things apart and clean them anyway, to reduce build up of that slimy stuff you find in water bowls after two or three animals have slurped for a couple weeks.This oen's easy to clean, easy to fill, easy on the eyes just sitting there! No complaints whatsoever!

This special dog bowl is brilliant! My dogs went to it immediately! They knew to drink from it even if though I didn't see the water at first. It also keep the doggie mat dry! They did not splash or drip water after using this bowl and that is a feat for big dogs like mine!! It was super easy to fill and clean. I think I'd like more of these just bigger! This one is more suited for one dog, and I have three.

Works for our cats, to keep the watering hole paw splashing to a minimum. It did take them a few minutes to figure it out, at first, but they’ve adapted quickly. Easy to clean, just as easy to fill, and keeps dirt from paws out of the water as a bonus. Excellent size to hold enough for multiple cats without running dry before the day is done. Especially if you’re introducing this with cats, you might consider leaving an “old-fashioned’ water bowl nearby for the first day or so as this is a different medium, for sure. This drinking bowl has clean lines and will blend seamlessly into almost every decor. Great for our cats, health-wise and aesthetic-wise (no more play puddles)!
